Just couldn't find them man. Haven't slept in 3 weeks, crying every night, considered taking up golf. Who knows what would have happened if those blanking sessions lasted any longer 😂
If I had a euro for everytime I changed my lure while fishing, I'd be a millionaire. Do it way too often. However on the flip side, when I land a fish on a lure, I tend to keep using that one for weeks 😂😂😂
Lovely brace of fish, I've still yet to give the seekers enough water time, I keep losing them on the rocks. How deep do they swim on a slowish straight retreive like you were doing? Also has anyone caught on them at night? I have two white ones 30g and 16g , a 28g red/black and a big 40g sandeel coloured one which. Only had a Mackerel on them so far but I will keep trying.
The 23g are perfect for fishing shallow weedy rocky areas. If you keep getting snagged try to swap out the treble hook that comes on it for the single that comes with it in the pack 🙌
@@specimendavetv7826 thanks, I've swapped them to the singles, I think I'm snagging them because I let them sink too much or spin stop too long. It's hard to gauge as fairly deep water, think I will save them for shallower marks and straight retrieve them.
Fantastic session matey can’t beat catching a lovely couple of fish after putting in hours without catching beautiful sized bass the seekers can be deadly 👍👍🎣
There are individual numbers on each tag for each fish, when you catch a fish and you want to tag and release it, you can record things such as the length, weight of the fish, where and when it was caught. After you've tagged a significant amount, you return the information you gathered to Inland Fisheries Ireland, they are who supply the tagging kits 🙌
Hi Dave .. great video mate .. I’m a bass angler from Northumberland and yes , you do have to put in a lot of hours sometimes and be ok with blanking as a bass fisherman .. makes it more rewarding when you catch one though ! Do you mind me asking What is the rod your using alongside your spin fishier reel?
I like the neoprene ones because they can take a beating. I'm always climbing over rocks and no matter what I wear, it's going to get ripped and ruined. So I choose the neoprene ones because I think they'll last the longest 😁
@@specimendavetv7826 lucky enough to have a holiday home 7k from Clonakilty. Spend most weekends dine there with local access to Long Strand, Owenahincha, Red Strand then Courtmacsherry etc. Try schedule a weekend down here with Peter and I'll put use up for a couple of nights.
@@Alexander-p3y I've had massive Pollock on this very setup too. Check out my video "Monster fish bent my hook". It's a cheap, simple setup but I love it

That's good fishing mate. Very well done. Caught a sea trout on a black pearl seeker in the surf last year but I've never had a bass on one. Maybe I'll try again. Tight lines mate 👍
Check out hunt fish eagle lure at Glasgow angling centre, exactly the same as the seeker only half the price.
I will have a look into this Gosnet always looking for other options :)
Love it Dave . Great video

I've caught more fish on a 23g seeker than every other lure put together, best bass lure there is. (well for me anyway) and that colour too

Two metals I never leave home without, white seeker, green kilty. No other metals needed IMO
It's always good to have a choice, but those would definitely be my first choice!
I got 2 yesterday well one broke away nothing today. I think your right its the build up to the full moon is hot.
