Synopsis:
Theodore is sent by Ariel to help at the upriver docklands of Tacktown, moving dredgers and barges of silt to wherever needed. But teasing from bully boats and the mess of it all is becoming a strain on the little tugboat. But disaster strikes on the railroad....and a train's heading for trouble! Can Theodore save the day?

DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
ALL ASHORE!
Theodore getting his own episode was a BIG priority for Season 2, and we've had quite a few brewed up! Some ideas will be revisited for future production, but this one came from a bit of an odd mixture; some old key-art I did when first building Tacktown (a "Mittsville"-inspired locale which I developed as a prominent view "up river" beyond the usual Chipperton) and all three versions of High Tide (two of which being from Salty's Lighthouse).
Scripting aside (which had major punch-up help from Tipp and Duke, with ‪@GeebMachine‬ adding a (sadly on my part hurrying things to the finish before a big wedding trip) uncredited amount of scripting assistance), this episode was pretty much one of the most "hands off" I've done for the season so far; while I guided a bit of Skip the Trix at home, a big summer family trip in June meant I had to leave it down to my team to complete...to which they did incredible work! Toony did the bulk of the climax alongside the first proper scene, while Tipp helped out with the remaining scenes and the fun "theme" montage! This sort of collaborative effort has been partly why a lot of recent projects have been fun, and been making me excited for what we're doing with future productions!
Major shoutout to not only our animators, but also our voice cast for helping bring this story to life. This episode was a huge experiment in a lot of regards, and it could not have been possible without our animators and voice actors nailing the tone!
Next time! We finally go and meet up with a certain shunter down at McCrakenton...
