Whoa... You're damn good at teaching things. It has been a pain to grasp things over the last week, I dived into the documentation, did the tutorials, read online, watched videos, wrote many small projects to hammer in the fundamentals but lots of things fly over my head because you are expected to already know django pretty well - and here you are, cementing everything in a concise straight to the point, extremely well articulated maner. You're a natural.

Dennis, you are really a teacher. I'm over 50 and have been a teacher all my working life. I've also watched tutorial videos but yours stand out, especially how you were able to demystify the template, view and url trio. Thanks a million.

Really clear and concise video ! The great thing about this video series is that you go thru the core concepts of what each file/convention in Django does and how they relate and talk to each other. This helps a lot rather than some other tutorials which focus on just typing standard code with little explanation on how the individual elements work. Thanks Dennis !

For every one who have the error: " templates does not exists at /blah blah/ " try this:
first: add this inside the the 'DIS' list inside 'TEMPLATES' in the settings.py file -- os.path.join (BASE_DIR , 'accounts/templates') -- (without the -- )
then create two other folders inside the templates folder and call them: "customers" and "products".
now move each html file to his matching folder.
    it will work now.

You can do a similar series (build something) but with VueJS. I mean combine the traditional superpowers of Django with the modern look-and-feel of JS, using Django views, forms and templates and augment them with JavaScript widgets. By widgets I mean single components, which can be inserted into html templates. Will be more than happy!!!

I don't get it brother... I mean, you were moving smoothly and all of a sudden, things were done in terms of styling. I am a little bit confused now. I was doing what you are illustrating step by step until you start talking about styling the page and putting all those html codes. I am currently lost.

in 3:01 i faced the same error that you did but I did not spell anything wrong !
    so I google it !
and there was some answers I want to share with you if you have same problem :
you should go in settings.py and look for TEMPLATES empty list and put your path to templates directory in ' ' as list element .
i don't know if it's the only way or best way to fix it but it worked for me i hope it helps you too.

HELP PLeeeeeasse - so I've set everything up and have followed along to video 3, but had to close down the pc and re-open a few days later. Can I find a way to get env to reopen? can I heck as like :( can't find a way to reopen the virtual environment. Using Visual Studio code opens up the HTML on port 5500 but port 8000 shows nothing but errors. Looks like another youtube tutorial I can't finish - shame I was kind of looking forward to this one and I was getting to grips with Django and Python.
