    very beautiful at the end Papaji shows his real state of nirvana: satsang over, time is gone, Papaji is gone, no eyemovement, nothing, he is gone out of time. disappeared in timelessness.

    Is emptiness fullness of the unknown who reveals the unknown to BE known in the heart?

    I see no difference between spiritual and psychological. Im sure Papaji would agree. I see so many "followers" of Papaji mentioning spirituality yet I never heard Papaji use that word. What he seems to be pointing at is the immediate moment. The now that can't be captured. The unknowable now. U.G. often points to this by saying there is no present moment, what you call the present is past. The now Papaji points to seems to be unknowable by the mind because it is too immediate.

      You nailed part of it in your last sentence in that it's too immediate and easy to miss but it is knowable.

      it's all there is, but with no thought about whatever it is happening. And whatever is happening, is also not happening, it's just an appearance. It's very innocent and simple, only mind complicates it.

    i donot know why people laughing for no reason, instead of understanding what they talking, they seems like making fun of the visitor, i am so sorry, for him

    • @warwicklambertcom
      @warwicklambertcom 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The visitor is intending to be funny....he obviously takes Papa ji seriously but he is using the medium of comedy to present his questions and comment on the answers. Sometimes this medium is an effective way to hear the Truth and receive the truth....it moves us out of our heads....I do not feel that anyone is making fun of the visitor or Papa Ji. Think you are wasting your energy by being sorry for the visitor.

      They are all in this spiritual path and their hearts are so light they feel joy with simple things. I saw the same behavior with Swami jyothirmayananda in Miami

      SPRITUAL PATH IS SERIOUS PATH ONCE U REACH AT THE PEEK OF CONSCIOUS THEN U SMILE ALL THE TIME, BUT I DONOT THINK THEY ARE THERE, IF I AM WRONG SORRY, BUT FEEL BAD WHEN PEOPLE LAUGH AT SOME ONE ASKING QUESTION,

    • @rajivp3826
      @rajivp3826 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Laughing is a "thoughtless state" thus it allows you to be in the present moment, otherwise 'mind' is always oscillating in the past or future (never in the present).

      warwicklambert.com im not sure anymore. The crowd assumed it being so at first (we also laugh when we don’t know what to do with a situation) but Papaji just went on and on with patient explanation. The guy might be slightly impaired which is not a problem or he’s just a little slow. He asks reasonable things all the time that do not mock anything.

    Ok,around 30 min, Papaji is making some wrong assumptions about Buddhists "being attached to emptiness".This naive statement is obviously proven wrong by numerous references of "emptiness of emptiness" in Mahayana scriptures.One has to do some homework on suttas like Lankavatara,Vajrasamadhi,Vajracheddika before criticizing Buddhism.This "I am superior to Buddhism" attitude is really sad,and just reveals ignorance about Buddhist teachings which he obviously never studied.

    • @naztubez
      @naztubez 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He is not criticizing Buddhism, just the misconception of many Buddhists. I have lived in monastic communities and seen this misperception myself, where many see emptiness as an attainment to be worked for in the future. He is also not claiming that one teaching is superior to the other, merely pointing to a different way of understanding.

    • @kabasakalis
      @kabasakalis 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      naztubez You have not listened carefully to what Papaji says.He says "This is the difference between the emptiness of the Upanishads and Buddhist emptiness, .. .Buddhists are attached to emptiness.I don't find ANY Buddhist who is not attached to emptiness." So clearly he is not criticizing SOME Buddhists, but the Buddhist teaching as a whole. I mean this guy used to hallucinate about Shiva and even DRESSED as Shiva, and then has the nerve to criticize Buddhism for being attached to emptiness.Whatever.

    • @naztubez
      @naztubez 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Spiros Kabasakalis Both the emptiness of Buddha Dharma and of the Upanishads are constructs of the mind. You are hung up on his point as you feel protective of Buddhism as a religion therefore you have taken up a egoic position. Let's not forget that the Buddha did not create a new religion, man did. When a teaching becomes religion followers feel threatened by the slightest criticism. One who understands the Buddha's teaching in it's correct context does not exhibit ill will by insulting others. Open your mind and let go of judgement, attachment to views and opinions is clearly your obstacle.

      naztubez Since you are changing the subject, I would be expect from you at least to admit that you based your first comment on your false assumptions and not on what Papaji is saying in this video.
      You say "open your mind and let go of judgement" .This is EXACTLY what you are doing right now, shifting the subject from my comment to me as a person. So I'd suggest to keep true to your own saying and spare me the schooling. You are not my teacher, -and I can tell by your arrogant attitude: you are not anybody's teacher. Buddhism does'nt need me for protection-this is one more naive assumption of yours. Papaji is insulting Buddhism and it's a pity to see that he was so sectarian and close minded. I don't consider mentioning his Shiva obsession as ill will. It was a fact. I suggest you continue your online Dharma teaching pursuits without me, I am not buying this internet guru thing of yours.

    • @naztubez
      @naztubez 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The fact remains that your feelings are clearly hurt. I understand why you wish to insult the teacher in this video. Turn the other cheek. It's not worth having your pride hurt over your conceptual religious ideals.
