What’s the point of strapping it on the butane lighter? What good is it if you can’t flick it?
It's will be useful if you bring along for climbing mountain or if you have kids
Recently there appeared cable ties on the market that were easier to open again. And the black ones (at least in EUrope) are more durable for outside (slightly less biologic), but there are also seemingly cheap ones with false colour. Some tricks can be achieved by only partly tightening one cable tie and then others before fully tightening, for bigger round or odd shapes. For the trick one with the drain cleaning you can add a second tie for better grip, it makes practical sense in a lot of situations to connect (add up) 2 or more ties for larger range. For trick 6 with the missing zipper you can also insert a "paper clip". You might show your audience how to loosen a cable tie with a tiny screw driver for reversebility, but you do this with your fingernail.

The cable tie forms a lock so a child cannot light the lighter.
To loosen cable tie, press with a sml screwdriver inbetween the 'lock" and pull. 2 hands r better here.

In idea number 5, when you want to carry a lighter on long trips or mountain climbing, you can use that method to carry it more safely.
