I have tears in my eyes of joy for Dr. Opal. Praises to all that made this happen for her.

I remember seeing about her in Galveston...she knew my brother in law ...😊we'd celebrated June 19th there in Galveston one of the first celebrations I belive ..😊my brother in law was historical director there at one time for tourist in the strand ..

This is not a BLM celebration sir. This is an honoring of a woman whose family was done an egregious wrong many years ago. Long overdue. In regard to Juneteenth; any culture will tell you that we should always celebrate freedom! That goes for any culture whether White, Black, or otherwise. Finally, I agree, health care is a sham and I pray that soon that will change for the benefit of the people. However, this has nothing to do with that.
