Me but only because i REALLY needed a build for her…she was my first ever prime and i started nearly 9 months ago in August of 2023, had regular Ember most of august and prime by early September I'd say.
Can use 3 for armor strip without energy issues now, otherwise still works and please put archon vitality on her it flat just doubles her damage if not more

Nice video, another thing you could do is take off prime flow and replace it with rolling guard then put 3 energy max archon crystals less energy but just another way to build it, its all up to your play style.
Ember is wifey. Its fun being a Fire Wizard while everyone run down into battle. Plus, with the new Hydriod agility to his upgraded rain move. I can cast Fire, Corrosive, and Viral for great synergy.
More youtubers should adopt your video format. Almost all of us watch videos like this on the phones and it just looks better when you zoom in without losing parts of the image. GJ! Also, I started warframe right when de changed ember :(
I have unlocked probably half the frames by now and Ember remains my favorite. I like Zepher as well but the problem is ever random team always one or two Zephers it seems like lol

With the wisp ability you just need to spam first ability (wisp) and 1x ability 3...Corosive projection with 2 on you can use inferno if u want to prime enemies with the augment mod for som energy... For the survivability u can use shade.. Or hurras kubro an u ar invisibe as log u just use your abilitys...
I have a similar build making use of gloom on her 1 which, when combined with her passive and madurai, reaches max slow fairly easy. I find that her 2 meter builds up fast enough to reliably use to armor strip with 3 while not being so ridiculously fast that I can't bear the energy drain. Overall this build seems more efficient with how quickly you can kill compared to mine, but mine is probably more survival. I guess it is really preference at that point. Aside from all that, I do have a question. Does Ember's 1 augment affect the damage of heat inherit? I haven't actually tested this to see if it does, but I imagine it could be quite a massive damage increase if you could fit it.
If you're doing an endurance build, the 2nd ability wouldn't be much use since enemies would one-shot in higher level difficulties but if you're doing a normal run, It still have its use.
This build does not really work anymore. DE nerfed Brief Respite. When you cast her 4th ability, you don't get any shields through Brief Respite anymore. I just found this out after putting a Forma on my Aura slot, learn from my mistake. In fact, the 4th ability doesn't even give shields through the Augur mods either. Seems it's because on a target energy basis.
@@zeo2176 Not really sure myself tbh, it was a bit of a struggle to survive because only the 3rd ability is good with the Augur mods, so I put in Rolling Guard and got rid of the Streamline. Left the 50% Fleeting Expertise. Growing Power is probably fine, I think I added Rejuvenation myself.
Inferno has never worked with Brief Respite, ever since its release. If you watch the montage and build sections of the video, Inferno isn't triggering it. You are specifically using Fire Blast to recover your shields with the mods. He also mentions this in the video as well. Lastly, the build uses Decaying Dragon Key to reduce your max shields by 75% for easy shield gating. Fire Blast + the three energy mods can easily replenish your 75% reduced maximum. If you want, you can drop Streamline for Rolling Guard and use a different school. I've been using the build awhile, and it doesn't need max efficiency.
@LegoJawa Because it is incorrect. Read my post. Inferno has NEVER worked with Brief Respite. Watch the video again. Decaying Dragon Key + Fire Blast is used when activating Brief Respite and the Augur Mods for shield gating.
Not having rolling guard and using void sling is not part of my muscle memory. I choke hard in times where I just lose my shield gate over and over and simply not recover before I run out of mana while my operator doesn't get touched. lol
I love playing as Ember, she's generally not the most op but I use her with dual heat swords to get the enemy warmed up, this also means the immolator gauge never has enough time to fill up until everything is dead... Unless I'm doing it wrong?
So why brief respite instead of growing power because you put on a lot of efficiency witch makes the abilities cost less and that makes it to where you get less shield due to low energy cost
Okay so look, you probably know how shield gating works, if not you use the s (invincible frames) you get when your shield is destroyed, and to get more shield he used brief respite, now getting 1 or 300 shield doesn‘t matter in the late late levels cause it‘ll get 1 shot anyway, so use the 3rd ability (fire blast) to get a small amount of shield just to get those few s when it is destroyed, rinse and repeat. Press 4 for the win, and survive :)
It's possible that the heat inherit mechanic might get fixed one day, but it's been around for almost 3 years now, and Ember has not been nerfed nor should she. So yes, the build works
The only problem that i found is that with this configuration and without any augur mod on the Epitaph you don't regen enough shield to get the full 1.33 sec of shield gating, i could fix that taking off streamline and adding augur message, also still keep the fleeting expertise 1 lvl before max. Outside of that, yep, still work pretty well.
Is the kuva nukor not as good a primer as the epitaph? I noticed in your more recent videos you use the epitaph over the kuva nukor and was just wondering why no kuva nukor.
epitaph targets more enemies at the same time, has innate cold which helps with the CC on top of any radiation or heat procs you might add, also no reload issues, but if you only want to prime mvp targets, nukor gets the 10 viral stacks way faster
Brief respite give you shield= energy spent so when you use any of the abilities it give you energy you mostly just use third ability to shield gate but can use any abilities. Hope it makes more sense now
question about heat inherit. does the actual base damage proc matters? so imagine the enemy has a sh*tty heat proc from the 3rd and i hit them with the 4th, does it double the 3rd's dmg or applies the highest one? that's bothering me , so assuming 3rd does 100 and 4th does 200 , does it matter what i hit them with first? anyone can chime in of course!
You can't put heat mods or faction mods on an ability, so there is nothing to inherit. You'll just get a heat proc based on that 100 dmg plus a heat proc based on the 200 dmg. There's no interaction, they just stack on top of each other as normal However, if you hit the enemy with such a heat proc before priming, then you can't prime for inherit until this proc runs out.

@@Caparzo27 i just tested it and for some reason fire blast doesn't remove 50% total armor, but current armor. idk if this is specific to fire blast as a nerf or if all warframe abilities act like this as i don't have a lot of access to other frames
Should still work overall. You don't need to use terrify anymore due to the better energy economy, but that means you could use other debuffs or something for utility. You could probably subsume over the 1 and put something for more damage or something if you didn't want to use terrify. With the changes, I believe the only faction you do less damage to than before is the kuva grineer.
Yeah I think this dude is a little slow why no replace her 1st ability it’s completely useless meanwhile her 2nd ability gives her huge damage reduction and she already has an armour strip in her kit I just don’t understand why he would use terrify this build is wack asf

Wondering if I should replace the streamline for transient fortitude due to when I do it in the simulacrum it one taps the max level but when I do it with the streamline it takes like 3 ticks for it to kill them

Those lines you're seeing are from magus lockdown which is an operator arcane you get from little duck on Fortuna. You void dash into the ground to activate them

Hi! Many people dont max archon vitality for a couple reasons. It's because in high lvl content (endurance SP) it doesnt matter how much health you have, you will be one shot. So they use mods like Brief Respite or the Augur mod set to shield gate. So you save endo, forma, and mod capacity by not ranking it up since you will die anyways if your shield breaks.

I watched the whole video but I got the feeling that at the end it wasn't explained whether or not it's worth playing with her? Can anyone tell me if Ember is a good warframe for End game?
What can be said about this particular build is that it's pointless, as it does the same as and nothing more than what you could do better with Equinox, Garuda, or any aoe weapon + strip. And what can be said about trying to use Ember any other way is, she really just strips and tanks, which you can do better with a number of other frames, because those other frames can do both those things at once, while Ember either keeps her meter up and tanks at the cost of hilarious energy drain, or she strips which depletes the meter and so she no longer tanks. Not to mention her strip requires line of sight, which is wonky af in Warframe, you sometimes fail to strip enemies that are clearly out in the open, and also it knocks down so if you need headshots, too bad.
Depends. If by "good" you mean "Can she clear content?" then yes, absolutely. I myself use her a ton in Steel Path and even Duviris Circuit when shes there for me. She can tank reasonably well even without the full bar for (so you don't get drained all the time). Now, if by "good" you mean "Is she one of the best?" then no. She can clear content and you can have fun with her, but i'd say shes far from the best, but you can have some real fun with her depending on what skill you subsume to her and thanks to the new archon shard thing (which just makes frames stronger than her even stronger, but the point is the same). About her armor strip problem, you can't armor strip enemies if they're in another room, even if it's jsut a thin wall separating you too, because even tho her heatwave goes through things, the actual ""strip wave"" does not, it gets blocked my stuff in between you 2. So in open areas you DON'T need line of sight of the enemies, you just need them to be in range and to not have anything in between you 2 to block the wave from hitting them. From my tests, if there are 2 enemies, the second behind the first one, and the heatwave goes towards the first one, the second one gets protected by the first one in front of him, so enemies also block the armor strip.
@@ttrqs Depends, best for what exactly? You can separate frames in a bunch of categories, such as clearing mobs, tanking, debuffing, crowd control. From my experience, Octavia is an excellent room clearer, but i think Saryn is better cause it's a lot less effort to spread spores to the entire map.
Helminth. Helminth is acquired through the Entrati. Once you get Entrati standing to level 3, you can acquire the Helminth segment from Brother, furthermore allowing you to apply different warframe abilities on other warframes.
I think it’s time I ask you to make a LVL Cap video that includes you playing styanax. In other words bring styanax in a steel path mission of your choice (Really wanna see disruption or survival) and hit lvl cap. 😁🙏🏽
Seeing all these heat inherit builds on ember and wonder why people aren't using the augment for her one doesn't that just add modded heat dmg to your primer or is that not how it works?
you could go Pillage on her if u want different build it's more survival good for dealing with corpus and armoured units and just let ur 4th ability finish them off etc...

im returning to warframe and till now i´m shocked. i dont like it. old ember had style. stand calm, turn your enemys into ahses and if necessary use the rest of your arsenal to elimenate the rest of your enemys...she wasnt the strongest, but now, the world doesnt burn anymore........ ...... and that kinda sucks...
She is way better now and actually fun to play and way more stylish and now actually viable. The fact you think the old version is better means you havn't actually tried her.
ahh yes, monke pressing 1 button on low levels is way more fun than having some synergies that work on both higher and lower levels not to mention how wrong you are since you still have old ember in a way, inferno kills regular starchart without any setup, max range efficiency and some stregth and everything dies on regular levels, so if anything you have old ember that can also do higher levels and has more fun abilities
Im...guessing you're new....on console (Xbox, idr what buttons are where on ps) A=1, X=2, B=3, and Y=4. Just saying, if you're less than MR 10 you more than likely shouldn't be looking at steelpath level builds unless you somehow have 10s of thousands of plat lying around and the time to finish your entire starchart...
Any weapon that has high status can b used for priming....u just got to know what u building for on what weapon you using .so I have never used banes on melee so I put bane on my cedo and go to work with melee and the bane is still applied(to clarify we on a heat build so I'm only talking heat)
@@TPCvsJDU um...no. If you put viral on cedo and prime then use melee to proc slash, the bleed won't take into account the bane mod of cedo. If you have bane on melee, then it will double dip.
Heat procs have the unique mechanic of refreshing their timer when a new heat proc is applied on top of them. That's what enables inherit for heat specifically and not any other element Heat proc dmg is increased by heat mods and faction mods Inherit is effectively keeping the heat and faction mods from the weapon that applied the first heat proc, on the heat procs you apply afterwards with another weapon or an ability So if you proc heat with a weapon that has Primed Heated Charge and Primed Expel, and then proc heat again with an ability, the ability's heat proc benefits from this 165% heat dmg and 55% faction dmg on the weapon

With all due respect, Warframe don't need pvp. PVP will ruin this game. Look at Destiny 2. A recently twat announcement state that a future update will nerf a lot of things in pve in order to accommodate pvp play style.
Let´s face it: the new Ember just sucks. I have considered myself an Ember main for many years and she still is my 2nd most played frame (behind Saryn) to date although I haven´t touched her for years. I tried again once in a long while to get her rolling. I tried so many different builds. My Ember Prime is now my most formatted item in all of Warframe with 15 Forma. IT IS JUST NOT WORTH IT. The Ember rework was one of the most shittiest decisions of fucking DE ever and I hate them will all my heart for it. RIP Ember Prime. Don´t buy this frame. Don´t try this build. Don´t try any other build. Level her and sell her for credits.

She was only ever useful as a braindead clearer in low to mid levels and fell off hard in what was considered high level back then. No armour strip, no survivability, her raw damage wasn't even that impressive. The only thing she had going for her was ease of use. Trying to use that old ember in today's Warframe with Steel Path and all the overguard going around would have been miserable.

I don’t put nourish on everything like some people do, but on her I’m able to have energy just about 90% of the time.
Fireblast can multiply the initial Heat damage by up to 8x... So ( Base heat damage ) x (Bane Mod) x (Fireblast (2,4,8)) for a lot of damage.

It’s a heat mod so yes it will add to heat %s for primer and dps , albeit it won’t add to her 4 if doing heat inherit on her 4

I think you can do both, you wont be casting any of those 2 anyawys so it really doesnt matter

in higher lvl content you want that gauge up in a lot of time it's 90% damage reduction and armour full armour strip
you just have manage it

Fleeting expertise+ streamline easy immolation meter for the whole mission=then you don’t need terrify
terrify just works better cause u can instantly shred instead of casting your 3 twice and sometimes doesnt even work
ps: obviously u can do terrify on her 1 insted of 2 cause you will most likely never use her 1

both are equally as good, but epitaph is better for this build i think

clicked for Ember build stayed for the usage of the Ohma
i thought warframe abilities removed total armor percentage? so with a heat proc then fire blasts minimum 50% removal the armor will be totally gone.
@@Caparzo27 i just tested it and for some reason fire blast doesn't remove 50% total armor, but current armor. idk if this is specific to fire blast as a nerf or if all warframe abilities act like this as i don't have a lot of access to other frames

Should still work overall. You don't need to use terrify anymore due to the better energy economy, but that means you could use other debuffs or something for utility. You could probably subsume over the 1 and put something for more damage or something if you didn't want to use terrify. With the changes, I believe the only faction you do less damage to than before is the kuva grineer.
I'd recommend not using any form of this build at all. It's kinda crap.

Yeah I think this dude is a little slow why no replace her 1st ability it’s completely useless meanwhile her 2nd ability gives her huge damage reduction and she already has an armour strip in her kit I just don’t understand why he would use terrify this build is wack asf
Her 1 can be used to shield gate very easily. Also energy drain on her 2 is annoying and would make the build much harder to use
I had the same question. But I went with Nourish for her 1. I don’t mind recasting her 2. Plus her 3 armor strip is solid.
@@tannerkennedy4192 he explains in the video that he didn’t want to manage her meter and wanted to use terrify which was recently reworked when he recorded this. If you like her kit (which I do) then don’t mindlessly copy this build. This build changes her play style.

Those lines you're seeing are from magus lockdown which is an operator arcane you get from little duck on Fortuna. You void dash into the ground to activate them

why isnt archon vitality maxxed?
Hi! Many people dont max archon vitality for a couple reasons. It's because in high lvl content (endurance SP) it doesnt matter how much health you have, you will be one shot. So they use mods like Brief Respite or the Augur mod set to shield gate. So you save endo, forma, and mod capacity by not ranking it up since you will die anyways if your shield breaks.

If you want to shield gate better, pro tip use the regular ember she is much better. Prime version just has more shield(bad) more armor(useless).

I watched the whole video but I got the feeling that at the end it wasn't explained whether or not it's worth playing with her? Can anyone tell me if Ember is a good warframe for End game?
What can be said about this particular build is that it's pointless, as it does the same as and nothing more than what you could do better with Equinox, Garuda, or any aoe weapon + strip.
And what can be said about trying to use Ember any other way is, she really just strips and tanks, which you can do better with a number of other frames, because those other frames can do both those things at once, while Ember either keeps her meter up and tanks at the cost of hilarious energy drain, or she strips which depletes the meter and so she no longer tanks. Not to mention her strip requires line of sight, which is wonky af in Warframe, you sometimes fail to strip enemies that are clearly out in the open, and also it knocks down so if you need headshots, too bad.

Depends. If by "good" you mean "Can she clear content?" then yes, absolutely. I myself use her a ton in Steel Path and even Duviris Circuit when shes there for me.
She can tank reasonably well even without the full bar for (so you don't get drained all the time).
Now, if by "good" you mean "Is she one of the best?" then no. She can clear content and you can have fun with her, but i'd say shes far from the best, but you can have some real fun with her depending on what skill you subsume to her and thanks to the new archon shard thing (which just makes frames stronger than her even stronger, but the point is the same).
About her armor strip problem, you can't armor strip enemies if they're in another room, even if it's jsut a thin wall separating you too, because even tho her heatwave goes through things, the actual ""strip wave"" does not, it gets blocked my stuff in between you 2. So in open areas you DON'T need line of sight of the enemies, you just need them to be in range and to not have anything in between you 2 to block the wave from hitting them.
From my tests, if there are 2 enemies, the second behind the first one, and the heatwave goes towards the first one, the second one gets protected by the first one in front of him, so enemies also block the armor strip.

@@ttrqs Depends, best for what exactly? You can separate frames in a bunch of categories, such as clearing mobs, tanking, debuffing, crowd control.
From my experience, Octavia is an excellent room clearer, but i think Saryn is better cause it's a lot less effort to spread spores to the entire map.

Helminth. Helminth is acquired through the Entrati. Once you get Entrati standing to level 3, you can acquire the Helminth segment from Brother, furthermore allowing you to apply different warframe abilities on other warframes.

Seeing all these heat inherit builds on ember and wonder why people aren't using the augment for her one doesn't that just add modded heat dmg to your primer or is that not how it works?

im returning to warframe and till now i´m shocked. i dont like it. old ember had style. stand calm, turn your enemys into ahses and if necessary use the rest of your arsenal to elimenate the rest of your enemys...she wasnt the strongest, but now, the world doesnt burn anymore........

She is way better now and actually fun to play and way more stylish and now actually viable. The fact you think the old version is better means you havn't actually tried her.
ahh yes, monke pressing 1 button on low levels is way more fun than having some synergies that work on both higher and lower levels
not to mention how wrong you are since you still have old ember in a way, inferno kills regular starchart without any setup, max range efficiency and some stregth and everything dies on regular levels, so if anything you have old ember that can also do higher levels and has more fun abilities

Any weapon that has high status can b used for priming....u just got to know what u building for on what weapon you using .so I have never used banes on melee so I put bane on my cedo and go to work with melee and the bane is still applied(to clarify we on a heat build so I'm only talking heat)

@@TPCvsJDU um...no. If you put viral on cedo and prime then use melee to proc slash, the bleed won't take into account the bane mod of cedo. If you have bane on melee, then it will double dip.

Heat procs have the unique mechanic of refreshing their timer when a new heat proc is applied on top of them. That's what enables inherit for heat specifically and not any other element
Heat proc dmg is increased by heat mods and faction mods
Inherit is effectively keeping the heat and faction mods from the weapon that applied the first heat proc, on the heat procs you apply afterwards with another weapon or an ability
So if you proc heat with a weapon that has Primed Heated Charge and Primed Expel, and then proc heat again with an ability, the ability's heat proc benefits from this 165% heat dmg and 55% faction dmg on the weapon

With all due respect, Warframe don't need pvp. PVP will ruin this game. Look at Destiny 2. A recently twat announcement state that a future update will nerf a lot of things in pve in order to accommodate pvp play style.
Warframe has a separate pvp mode, it's been dead for years for a reason lol

Let´s face it: the new Ember just sucks. I have considered myself an Ember main for many years and she still is my 2nd most played frame (behind Saryn) to date although I haven´t touched her for years. I tried again once in a long while to get her rolling. I tried so many different builds. My Ember Prime is now my most formatted item in all of Warframe with 15 Forma. IT IS JUST NOT WORTH IT. The Ember rework was one of the most shittiest decisions of fucking DE ever and I hate them will all my heart for it. RIP Ember Prime. Don´t buy this frame. Don´t try this build. Don´t try any other build. Level her and sell her for credits.

@@KiDfIyA I remember, and I say old Ember would have been even worse today. She was only ever useful as a braindead clearer in low to mid levels and fell off hard in what was considered high level back then. No armour strip, no survivability, her raw damage wasn't even that impressive. The only thing she had going for her was ease of use. Trying to use that old ember in today's Warframe with Steel Path and all the overguard going around would have been miserable.
