Exprides feel so good , I was running Daiwa zillion sv tw on mine but really want to try the Dc Shimano reels that exact setup the Expride B 7’2” & curado Dc is what I’m thinking of running but the new zillion g everyone is hyping me up . Idk yet definitely Expride though.
I’m confused not coming at you or anything like it’s a real gray zone for me okay so if I cast with a spinning rod (that are generally left hand retrieve) but mostly find baitcasters that are mostly right hand. I don’t see a sense to make a cast and switch hands. That saying would people that have right hand retrieve be left handed?

I'm not a fan of DC, since if you are good enough, you can sometimes outcast a DF reel with a regular brake. But damn I would like that sounds on my reel
Haha for sure. I can cast farther on other reels without DC 100%. I think a lot of people think digital braking makes the reel cast farther for some reason

Fun fact: Last evening I searched for the curado dc on google and on ebay… Today this is already the 5th curado dc short I see

Definitely recommend the explodes. I’d look at the zillions though for sure, I’ve heard amazing things about them

So how much 15 lb flouro carbon
Probably around 80-85 yards. I filled mine with 15lb flouro last year and it handled it fine

I been using baitcasters since 1981. You can keep the DC reels and all that racket. I can make mine do the same thing WITHOUT a digital brake.😎👴🏼

It’s the computerized braking system. It makes the same noise will all line types.
