I have locks and I use a dab of the Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream in my spritz bottle with some water and a little bit of oil. I love it!! I use my spritz every few days and my locks always feel soft and smell great and I don't have build up. Plus that price point is perfect for a 16oz tub!! Oh, and that mist is the bomb and I love that one as well. Sometimes I will use a little of the mist in my spritz bottle as well. That coconut smell is sooooo wonderful. Nice review. Hi. I am new at wearing my natural hair in public. I tried some less expensive products first. Called myself trying to rock a twist out. It came out a twisted mess! Lol! So a couple days, I purchased the Cantu leave in conditioner and the Cantu Curly custard cream (i think that's the name). I am loving the results! I noticed the difference right away. My hair is so soft, shiny and curl defined. I have decided to train my hair first with the Cantu products and just keep my two strand twist. My hair goal is the two or three strand twist-out. hi, i did try it and i luved the shampoo and leave in. i was hven dry issues so i hve added a cocunt line by Eves that has worked wonders. Cantu is great for twist outs also. Im pleased so far. 😎

I found this line in the ethnic hair section at Wal-Mart and I'm impressed! Much better than garnier fructise type crap. And good deal and no silicones and sulfates.
Unfortunately some do have sulfate and silicon. Shampoo has sulfate conditioner has silicone. Buuuuut, I like them either way. Sulfate and silicons aren’t the devil. You just need to deep cleanse, anyways with all these products now and than so you don’t have hydral fatigue. Yes it’s a think when you over moisturize.

+OsAu Treadwell Leelee's Kitchen is correct. I bought Cantu for testing purposes and it has worked great for me. If by chance you get some dryness the first time. Try using it different the second time. If your hair has an issue with dryness naturally try oil treatments and leave in conditioner under the Cantu products. Let us know... Go Cantu. Lol...

Same.. That's why once I started to transition, I learned the best way to keep my hair in great condition was to shampoo it once a month (I was my hair once a week) possibly twice if I don't feel like co-washing my hair... It showed a lot more progress than before.

I think the custard reacts to other products. I think it reacted to the coconut curling cream. I had a fresh wash and bought and tried both products the for the first time together because it was recommended, but after seeing all the residue I washed it out as soon as I could. I washed my hair and missed a spot got it less because I was in a hurry and over a sink myself. After, I went to put the coconut curling cream in my hair alone, residue showed up in that one spot in the front left side of my head that I have missed before if I'm not paying attention. Like weird snowflakes.
Pretty girl you went all out for us, I am Ethiopian so I have those unmanageable tight curly hair and I don't know what to do PLUS my daughter has her Daddy's white hair that is curly, blonde, and loose so I was looking for something both of us can use and I think this Cantu is it, but others have been telling me about Shaea Butter what do you think?
if you like thicker products and products that will give you build up rather quickly then yes I would recommend shea moisture brand. I do use some of their products but sometimes I just think they are too expensive for the kind of job it does for your hair.

I'd like Cantu naturals to be my staple line because I'm 4c, low porosity, protein sensitive . I already use the poo/conditioner every Other Sunday night and retwist my minitwist every two weeks the Monday after my poo. My only dilemma is "where's the deep conditioner" also "which product works great for twisting my hair"? Leave in does leave flakes for me so I prefer to use it to daily pop my ends on my minitwist, I rinse my caked up ends with water in the morning then smooth the repair cream to create poppin curly ques on my ends and Try to cover the flakes with olive oil. But I'd like a clear moisturizer to create my twist and leave them soft and flexible and moisturized. My go to seal is Sulfur 8 lock and twist butter. Please tell me again "where's the deep conditioner" and "which moisturizer is clear and will keep hair soft and flexible"?

Most of the products can be find in most beauty stores..you can find them in Walmart, Walgreens, Sally, or a pharmacy or drugstore close to you, I usually buy them at Walmart. However I think you can even find them in the dollar stores but it doesn't mean that the effects or the products change, the price will be the same aswell as the quality...I am saying this by personal experience.. Hope this helped 😁
I cut off 2/3 of my hair today... I'm planning to use this brand. Not sure how it is going to work. I've basically kept my hair in buns all my life and I really don't know anything about how to have nice long curly hair. I straightened it twice in my life. The first time I did I had to go wash it off because my family reacted as if I had killed somebody. Apparently straightening curly hair is an abomination. The second time it made my head feel weird. Anyway... I have a big head and short hair makes my head even bigger... Very short is for guys... I suck at taking care of long hair... So... I'm looking for helpful info in TH-cam. It wont work the same for everyone because we dont all have the same hair type...its probably just not the best for your hair...it works great for me though. It could also be on how much product you use and with what other products you use them with.
Yeah, I heard the Shampoo can be very stripping...I think it might be more suitable for hair with alot of product build up or if you do use the shampoo, perhaps just shampoo your hair the once, which should be enough, then be generous with your choice of Cantu Hair Conditioner, that should balance it out.
girl I'm from the southern Africa part, my type of hair like bush man's..so kinky nd strong but these products...amazingly work wonders on our natural hair with beautiful curls
If you want growth, I'd suggest the Shea Moisture JBCO line. The leave in conditioner and edge gel especially helped my hair stay damage free while I was growing my hair.

Hey i personally feel like co washing is something that replaces shampooing. You can still condition your hair afterwards tho☺, I hope that helps.

One thing I realized is that cantu works better if u are black,Jamaican,Haitian,etc than if u are mixed or something like that but not for everyone

It wont work the same for everyone because we dont all have the same hair type...its probably just not the best for your hair...it works great for me though. It could also be on how much product you use and with what other products you use them with.
I would try these but my hair is permanently relaxed I think so the natural hair products wouldn't work for me

The shampoo dryes my hair out. The conditioners leave my hair looking oily and heavy. I looove the smell though. I have wavy hair
Yeah, I heard the Shampoo can be very stripping...I think it might be more suitable for hair with alot of product build up or if you do use the shampoo, perhaps just shampoo your hair the once, which should be enough, then be generous with your choice of Cantu Hair Conditioner, that should balance it out.

If you want growth, I'd suggest the Shea Moisture JBCO line. The leave in conditioner and edge gel especially helped my hair stay damage free while I was growing my hair.
