This thing is absolutely gorgeous. The 88-91 are my favorite Crown Vics and will always be. They aged gracefully and look better and better the older they get. How could you not love the ass of that car??
I think they're starting to make a comeback. My Subaru has them and a while ago I saw a Jeep Renegade with them. They really are a great feature aren't they?
I had that car for years and sold it for 800 bucks 😥it rode so much smoother than my deville ..then I got a 1999 crown Vic in 2002...and still have her !!
i talk on cb radios and you need a RCI 2950cd transciever with an RM ITALY KL 703 500 watt amplifier attached to a 9 foot whip on a ball mount with spring and a scanner added to the console with a WILSON 1000 non magnetic mount for scanner recieve.and btw we didnt need to see your feet lololol.. great car. make it authentic. make sure everything is working on that car... gd luck keep me posted...im in fort lauderdale btw. just to let you know... hope you still got that car and not have sold it like a fool, fool, lolol peace.....
Ok, I wish I would of kept mine, I heared by the end of the video your removing the vinyl top, Cool beans. I did the same project on my 1990 LTD and removed the vinyl top it was hard and after that you would have to take it to the body paint shop top fill in the holes on the center roof form the vinyl top removal. Vehicles like these are extremely rare now
The 88 is gone and I have a 90 now. I never removed the top. The car was modeled after FBI or CIA LTDs and some did in fact have soft tops and looked identical to mine. None survived because none of those cars had vin numbers, so none could go to auction. They where mostly destroyed.
gages are at o'rileys and the gator light I got from an old police/ Security cars mechanics shop that closed about a year ago. This car has since been sold.
If you want to turn it into a police package, you would have to remove the vinyl top the police package do not they have vinyl tops, ones you remove the vinyl you will see the metal roof.
There where in fact police unmarked vehicles that had soft tops. Most where owned by CIA or FBI and all where destroyed due to them not having vin numbers. You can still find picture of them.
Is that fuel injection? My '89 had a carburetor which would stick and stall the car all the time. Had to ditch it years ago. Wish I had kept it. Oh well.
car id had the wheels but i had to send back wheels 4 times to get the steelies with tabs to hold center hubs on. so if your looking for tabs you have better luck at a junkyard.
Ford didn't start using the 4.6L until around 1992. Before that they all had the 5.0L or the police versions had a whopping 5.8L.
I see your car is for sale on Craigslist. Looks good, greetings from Norway.
Just love that

Instead of The Chevy 📦

@@LITTLE1994 or the everything
Luv the look of that generation- 89 to 91. These were the best looking Vics in my humble (but correct!🤣!) opinion!
87was the last year they made a Vic in my opinion
Take care of her bro take care of her I got a 1992 Cadillac Brougham Fleetwood I'm still waiting to get out of the shop
That's a sharp looking car.
Sweet, I think the side turn cornering lights should be standard on all cars today, they help in turning onto dark rural roads.
I think they're starting to make a comeback. My Subaru has them and a while ago I saw a Jeep Renegade with them. They really are a great feature aren't they?
Personally I think the civilian crown vics look better and are more comfortable than the police intercepter. But its an attractive car for sure.
That is One Sweet Ride Mark...👍
you keep it clean, nice car

I sold it 3 or 4 years ago and unfortunately it's a piece of shit now.

Do you have the link to the push bar?
Do you still have this vehicle and how long you had this car
Nice car
Я не понимаю, почему при таком мощном моторе, машина едет только 140 км/ч?
Where did you get those hubcaps? I've been looking for a set for my 1988 myself. Your car looks great. Thanks.

I cant find the gator light on ebay/online. Can u provide a link? Also, those gages... where did you get those exactly? I own a car almost like this.
gages are at o'rileys and the gator light I got from an old police/ Security cars mechanics shop that closed about a year ago. This car has since been sold.
Where did you find the setina bumper
Setina website

Can we have a 1 year later update?
one year later, its sold.
Had the car for about 8 months and decided to do a short video on it.
Is that fuel injection? My '89 had a carburetor which would stick and stall the car all the time. Had to ditch it years ago. Wish I had kept it. Oh well.
this one was fuel injected. if it was carbureted it could have been a 351 as most cop cars had.
Dam I want one.😎💖👍
Where did you buy the wheels? I’m trying to get a set for my 91 grand Marquis and rock auto only has one left in stock.

No. However it had factory tint when I got it. It was faded.

Is it cat back or straight piped?
It's a dual straight pipe

Nice car, however, stop trying to impersonate the Police. No need for Police equipment...smh...
Its a tribute car. No lights or sirens. If someone was dumb enough to pull over for a car this old, they don't belong on the road.
Sorry but I think you're an idiot for doing that to the car.. you should have just left everything it would look so much better
Its just a preference for this one and the color. My 90 im keeping factory looking. This 88 was a tribute car for law enforcement.
That car is an embarrassing pile of shit
