Thanks for the tip on the injection molding hole for screw securing a leather pad. I may use that on one when I glue Versas.

The step by step process you use for applying leather pads with clips is very helpful!
But mainly your videos are a massive breath of fresh air on TH-cam!
I hope to meet you at the ELPO some time.
Thanks for the awesome videos! 👍🏻

Why would one shoe a horse with the shoes you use

    • @ChristianConservativ

The nail (the hoof) is growing uneven and can cause the horse to be lame. So, I would imagine they would wear these until the hoof comes out enough to be trimmed even and then have proper shoes put on. This might work even for slight splitting not total but slight.

I believe better blood perfusion, supports the caudal aspects of the digit and foot differently than a regular open heeled shoe, the traction and shock absorption is different than a steel or aluminum shoe. I believe if added protection is needed these shoes play a role in creating a stronger healthy foot.

I find it hard to trust horses. They're too big. If a dog gets big headed, I can deal with that. A horse will kill me and there's not much i can do about it.

Its all about our own experiences and where we comfortable. However I have found that life begins on the very edge of our comfort zone. I understand that horses are large, as a whole most the horses I have been around do not want to cause trouble or problems. They are really amazing creatures.
