I don't think people know how hard it is to write positivity like this. We've been conditioned to think hip hop and rap is supposed to be tough and violent, so hearing something that spreads healthy thinking is hard to pull off without sounding corny. Xraided has reached his final form, this is perfection, this is the cake, everything after this is icing.
Not really hard at all, if you're old enough. Hip-Hop/Rap was nothing but positive music at it's roots, and for nearly the first decade of it's existence. And even when it switched to being mainly hardcore/gangsta rap, there have still been many positive artists within the genre.

You are so right about that, he was one of the hardest gangsters rapping and spent half a lifetime locked up then came out the realest thug in music. At one point I was still on parole and was facing a Life sentence if I violated so I had to watch what I said even if I meant well. Now that I am off of parole, I can speak freely.
I look back on that time with great empathy for all of us. They say “hurt people hurt people” and underneath it all, I was a child who was hurting and I dispensed a lot of pain to others as a result.
You come from an amazing family full of great women who I was able to speak with and listen to during my hearing. Their compassion for me was breathtaking.
A heartfelt apology was necessary whether I was personally responsible or peripherally responsible because of deep seated perceptions…. But I walked away feeling like I had effectively communicated that. 🙏🏾Be blessed. Thank you 🙏🏾
