Hi Sir I am using a free trial account and a free subscription. After creating Azure AD b2c I can't see the free trial and the resources whichever created under the free trail subscription. Please help me for the following doubts 1. how can I get the free trail subscription? 2. Will that be charged if I create an Azure Ad b2c?? Actually I started following this playlist tutorial and started creating all app registration, etc. the old free subscriptions were gone.. please guide me Sir.
Hi Imaya, Thank you for following the playlist! Let me help you with your doubts. Free Trial Subscription Visibility: When you create an Azure AD B2C tenant, it creates a separate directory. As a result, your resources from the Free Trial subscription might seem to "disappear" because you're in a different directory (your B2C tenant). To view your Free Trial subscription again: In the Azure Portal, click on your account icon in the top-right corner. Click Switch Directory and select your original directory (where the free trial subscription is). After switching, you should be able to see all your Free Trial resources again. Charges for Azure AD B2C: Since you’re just trying out Azure AD B2C for learning purposes (and not for a business-scale project), there’s a free tier that should cover your needs. The free tier allows up to 50,000 monthly active users (MAUs), which is far more than what you'll need while experimenting or learning. So, you shouldn’t worry about charges unless you surpass that limit or use more advanced features. For now, feel free to explore Azure AD B2C without concerns about costs. You can always monitor your usage in the Cost Management + Billing section to stay informed. Let me know if this helps, and feel free to continue with the tutorial! I'm happy to assist if you have more questions.
Hi Imaya, I hope you're doing well! If you'd like to check out and subscribe to my other channel, you can find it here: youtube.com/@LearnSmartCodingintamil/videos. I hope you enjoy the content!
Kumar, to configure this external identity, just follow the steps. You need a developer account for your Gmail that you will use. Please provide an example of the domain name that you refer to. Sorry I did not understand what you mean by domainname
Fantastic video! Very clear instructions, thank you 🙏 I've followed your instructions and get the button show up, but when I click on it I get the error "Access blocked: This app’s request is invalid" - any ideas what this could be?
Thank you. Did you set up the app correctly in Google? Also, the ID you grab from Google should be placed in your Azure configuration, as shown in the video. Could you verify these one more time ? Sometimes, we miss some simple things, and that leads to error. Please let me know after you try that out one more time.
This is an excellent video. Very helpful. The only problem that I ran into was that I got an error in my app after clicking the Google login option because my tenant name was not all lower case on the Credentials page. From the Microsoft web site..."Use all lowercase letters when entering your tenant name even if the tenant is defined with uppercase letters in Azure AD B2C.".
This is a great tutorial!. Thanks a lot!
You're very welcome!
Great one, worked for me. Thanks mate

Hi Yogesh, it is most likely due to cache in the browser. Please try incognito mode and it should work
Hope this helps
