air filter looks a little heavy on the oil, I usually get some shop towerls wrap it in them and squeeze, insude and then outside. Less splooge getting sucked into the intake
Low end power is noticeably increased but it is not a drastic difference. It is still not as much as my 19’ YZ250F. I do like the 24’ more and can live with the low end power it has. Midrange is great. Top is good.
The timing chain does not affect the power whatsoever!😂 it’s not even a gram more. Plus the fact ppl like you kept saying that, that has no idea how a timing chain has no affect on a motor that Mitch Payton from pro circuit even personally said in a video that the timing chain is not the issue. It’s the design of how the air comes through. Hence when you change to the 450 air box makes a big difference.
While I believe the only difference from the 2023-2024 motor was the more robust timing chain, the redesigned 2024 air box is what killed the low end power delivery.
Lol. No I’m good. I’ve had 2 450s. I think it’s fun to use all the power of your bike. The 250F is a great bike with plenty of power mid to top that I use. Just trying to get more low end out of the bike.

Heavy duty timing chain is what killed the snappy power!

It's not killed..just a bit less.Easy fix
