Before watching the video I would say "no". Why no? I feel we should allow them to self organize and make clear the boundaries in which they can self manage and make their own decisions. Saying that "you can make all the decisions you want" will often lead to paralyzes since that is to big of a playing field for the team to act in and take ownership of. But allowing teams to make decisions within the constraints they and the organization are mature enough for is a good thing. It encourages ownership which breeds pride and commitment And the playing field should be expanded as the maturity grows. Ok....
