I have a weird relationship with FH. It's such a unique and cool game for It's genre but i have so many massive issues with it. Aside from the horrid connection issues which let attacks that were supposed to be blocked through and how everyone has given up on being a decent sport. I love LB but Ubi really fucking neutered him over the years. His lights can only combo into heavies which imo are slower than most. With his shove hyper armor gone his shove is even worse now. Being too slow to be a reliable method of disruption, paired with how they removed shove on block and nerfed impaling charge to be worthless outside of ledging. A good to have balanced it is to deal like 5dmg upon contact and another 20 on wall-splat. Not to mention how i actually get stun-locked and despite my widgets being in the correct spot nothing was blocked. Don't get me wrong. I'll still main him regardless of how amazing gryphon may be. I just wish ubi would actually care about the garbage they're throwing out. Instead of just churning out half finished heroes. They just need to spend a year fixing their game instead throwing newer and stranger heroes out into the fray. I dunno, i just wish fh would get fixed. LB needs better openers or some kind of buff against feigning. He's a counterattacker, if the attack is cancelled he's boned bc of the follow-up punish
they added mixups on her zone, made her heavy finishers undodgeable, gave options after both side step moves, and made hidden stance quicker on startup. you can't tell any of it if all you do is light spam and kick though.
While I agree with everything you've mentioned, I honestly think she's still underwhelming. Hidden stance should work exactly like Conq's all guard, meaning it should avoid any incoming attack if used correctly - it shouldn't require literally perfect timing in order to do anything. If it just a glorified back dodge, why have it in the first place? Also, her side step "dodge" attacks are fucking atriocious. Why do they also require perfect input timing? You gotta dodge and then delay the hit input. Do it too early, you get hit, do it too late, it's a regular heavy. They could've made her Side Step Heavy like Apollyon's dodge attack - slow it down a tad, make it faintable, give it the UB property AND ADD SOME GOD DAMN I-FRAMES TO IT.

Bushi is a 'hard' character, meaning she does not have many 'cheap/broken' moves or abilites, and requires a higher learning curve to learn, with a higher skill ceiling. She's unique in her dodging abilites as because of the perfect input timings the sidestep heavies actually connect and allow you to start applying pressure, couple that with your retreat bleed being an option after your sidestep heavy or any heavy finisher and you have a powerful kit with lots of versatility and a unique fighting style of weaving between blows and delivering bleeds, strikes and bashes. Underwhelming is not the word I would use. Unique is.
