The sub unit we never knew we needed but now could never do without. XXL really killed it. I listen to this album so often, it's such a nice vibe. Now you've checked the album super recommend the legendary Someday Festival performance and behind the scenes although I'm sure you've got a million things on your list, but I swear you will never see butterflies the same 🤣
They have choreography for Play Me. Slow Dance is just a vibe stage.
I really live this album more than i can give it credit for. The amount of times it instantly puts me in a good mood every time it comes up in the playlist. All the songs are great. They did a great job at carving out their own sound separately from the full group but still sounding true to their style. They got a recording and choreography behind the scenes for love me a little on the Mon Channel.
Their is another song that they did a cover to, it has a performance video and its on Spotify, it is called "I Hate You". The original is by 2PM, MX's parents 🤣. 2PM is the OG BEAST IDOLS and MONSTA X is thankfully associated along side them when ever the term is brought up, by both people in the industry and the Korean general public. ❤ Love my 2PM & MONSTA X, 2nd and 3rd gen Beasty boys 🔥

This unit was everything to me, I discover monsta x because a fancam from Shownu (hip song, please check this!!!) and he was my first bias and now my ult bias is hyungwon, so I was SOO HAPPY when they announce this duo, they sound like heaven, their voices matches so well!!!! I recommend you the Someday Festival performance...every monbebe was in a chokehold lol
I was so lucky to live the live experience of this unit when they came to Mexico for the kamp fest last august. They sung Love me a little, Play Me and Slow Dance (I almost died at this one). They also sang Wildfire and Who do u love.
I was so lucky to see them after everything that happened with that disaster of festival, and as a Hyungwon biased it felt like a dream🥺
More of XXL in Mexico, is that they were the only ones that took pics with 3 sides of the place, center and both sides.
Hyungwon did aegyo so cute😭 and Shownu showed us his abs🥴
made us scream in a competition😹 Shownu was right side, Hyungwon was left side and us in the right won for sureeee😹
Shownu and Hyungwon had tacos and beer, but beer looked with a lot of foam (not common here) and to this day, we still make fun of it saying that that is eskimo (like a shake) or frapuccino-like beer
Someone in the crowd threw them a cowboy white hat and Hyungwon put it after Wildfire and even sang with it on, he looked soooo good😭
They attended Someday Festival as a duo, and that it's a must hahaha they were amazing!
mbb were calling their unit the XXL line lol also you should def check their concept pictures out. I love that we were able to hear both shownu and hyungwons vocals more, and shownu really does have this R&B type vibe.
Roll With Me, Love Me A Little, and Slow Dance really tickle something inside me. They make me giggle, they make me move and groove and I love both of them a disgusting amount. The teaser trailer for this album was so cool... honestly not sure how it plays into the album but the way I watched it about 10,000 times trying to decipher something and came up with numerous theories for it to mean zilch lol... I REGRET NOTHING! But seriously, Hyungwon & Shownu loml.
The moment this ep was announced I said god help us if they decide to even just sprinkle a little r&b into it and then they did and then I died in the best way possible 🫠
Roll with me really surprised me, it sounds like something Taemin would have done it’s so subtly dramatic! The whole mini is incredible, and you are so right, some albums just sound better in the car and this one was made specifically for commuting! I listen to this almost every day.

As a Korean mbb, the hilarious ‘slow dance’ lyric video also had wrong Korean lyrics at 17:33 😮😂 aren’t they just “copy” the “Korean” lyrics?
Change those in ‘어느새 달이 기울고 밤이 짙어져도’. These mean ‘Even as the moon sets and the night grows darker’.

Looove this album, like someone else said it has their own flavor but is still at the same time very MX. I don’t think I expected the unit per say but when they announced it I was like ‘yeah that totally makes sense’ lol. It’s such a vibe, they killed it! My favorites off of it are Love Me A Little and Slow Dance.

yes, this album was a surprise to some extent, but very pleasant and needed one apparently xD
All songs are good and grow on you with time, but Roll with me was my favourite melodically. It's simple, but fun and catchy one, I love to listen to it.
And lyrically my favourite one is Slow dance, because consent is sexy! 🔥 Their gentle questions just melting me away each time, especially given that this two have soft romance image to them imho ^^
I think I appreciate Love therapy more after watching live for it from the festival

Girl dont doubt urself, u're a real monbebe when u can tell their voices apart. Their voices are different frm each other, but they sound good together. But thats the thing w MX, any subunit would slay. Kihyun + Jooheon chemistry and voices together is really good, but u also cant deny when 93liner (My Min, Kihyun, Hyungwon) are together, like that Myself cover, they also sound great.
