- I have tried to have cockatiel colony which consist of few pairs, last time with two pairs it give me good result now I am upgrading it by adding few more pairs.
Here you can see that we have some chicks come out of box and near to self. Overall I have very good experience regarding cockatiel colony breed. I have put 4 boxes inside the colony and out of 4 three boxes has the cockatiel breed. I have used these pairs as foster pairs as you can see that I have some chicks are silver which are foster by colony cockatiel pairs and some White face which are possible split of WF emerald split and these are also raise by the Careem Face ino pair.

Wow that's amazing. My grandfather had a cage with just around the same amount of cockatiels you have when my dad was a kid. I only have ine niw named Blade his everything to me but in the future i want him to breed with a female so i could have a small amount of them like 4 to 5 of them. Of course this is just a dream and im just happy to have Blade. He's my everything.but your lucky man 😮. This is also my first cockatiel. I have had him for a year now. I'm learning everything so when I do get a female I'm ready to have her too. That's if I'm Lucky. I honestly don't wanna do DNA testing so if I get another boy o well I'll figure it out
