Additional note to 13:39 - This is why the Running up that Hill scene in Stranger Things Season 4 worked so good and why it went viral. It was a powerful song that made the scene so much more powerful in emotion. Max's fight for her life was so much more emotional and powerful thanks to Kate Bush's Running up that Hill.
If you're filming something like a large vehicle, having different scales of ships would be very useful. If you want a close up, build a small part of the ship at a large scale If you need a medium range shot on rails, you can use a medium full scale version And if you need a shot of your ship flying realistically, you can use a smaller scale version at a distance

Hey! Recently a friend of mine told me about using stopmotion for plane crazy. Falcopotato has also done this before. I havent found a way to make stopmotion animation work in Plane Crazy. Stopmotion animation is a very powerful tool, especially in cinematics, it might even change the way we make our PC movies.
I'm not sure if stop motion works so good for cinematics and movies. You'd need quite a lot of pictures to make the movements seem smooth, so I'd consider using stop motion a waste of useful time in most cases. It might work in some videos, but I'm still not so sure.
@@LuchtLeiderNederland yeah alot of people dont even know stopmotion in pc exists mostly because only a handful of videos use it. They find it easier to just record a video.
Tip for camera views: as you see in the video the camera setup looks like one of the motor 2 turrets, i don't know if it is but it's better to use normal motors because when you move the camera via key it can stay smoothly (plus you can hide the cursor to the corner as motor 2 forces it in the middle)
13:14 i agree with that point you made there. it sounds terrible and ruins the whole scene. it makes the scene look like a meme. i much better like the retro futuristic vaporwave musics.

4:31 If anyone is wondering, pointing the camera up at something creates an illusion that it is very large, even if it isn't.
That space station from 2001 a space odyssey looks really good
Sometimes I take inspiration from movies such as 2001: A Space Odyssey
Wow thank you LuchtLeider Nederland great guide
Fun fact: If you install RoShade, you can use it's built-in green screen, so you dont need to make the black box.
Yes, I tried that but the built-in green screen doesn’t work most of the times, but in some cases it can work
