Its funny how I came across this video! I had the Victorine wallet next on my list! I had recently purchased the clemence wallet and which I absolutely love and even did an unboxing! I wanted to get the Victorine for my really small bags! Great review! I am convinced now to go for it!
I own only one clemence wallet, I saw the victorine and I did not like because I am afraid about glazing issues, My clemence is with me since October 2019 and I use a lot and still is in great condition. Lately I got an empreinte leather key pouch for my small bag
So far my victorine hasn’t had any glazing issues (thankfully!) and I’ve had it since may 2019. I hope the clemence holds up just as well! The empreinte leather is gorgeous!!

@@rosalindah60 I had a horrible glazing issue with my 6 key holder as well! After 6 months of owning the entire glazing at the top started to completely peel away. Luckily my SA handled the repair free of charge bc IMO that was way too soon to have that big of a glazing issue.

I bought the Victorine wallet and I regret it! I actually struggle with it, especially when I pay with cash and have to put change away, the coin pocket is so small, it’s hard to put change in there. I wish I would’ve went with the Clemence wallet. It’s spacious and easier to put change away, you zip it up and done.
I can definitely see that! The coin pocket is a pain on the victorine so if you’re a heavy cash user I can see that being annoying. I definitely prefer the victorine over clemence for my lifestyle (don’t use a ton of cash and when I do I don’t mind struggling a bit with the coin slot since it’s rare)

I absolutely love my Victorine! However, since you have two tri-fold wallets - have you considered maybe even a card holder of some sort? Like the Roasalie? Just to switch it up. I ended up selling my Clemence (I plan to do a video explaining more in depth as to why - nothing wrong with the wallet itself tho) but after using a compact wallet for so long, I found myself not really reaching for the full size clemence. I do intend to get another Chanel Card Holder in place of the clemence!
I honestly don’t even reach for my card holder anymore unless I carry a clutch which is hardly ever. I just bought the clemence for my neonoe but now I’m having second thoughts on the wallet 🤣
@@lilaayy0722 I really liked the Clemence for the month I used it, however I found that I much preferred a snap closure versus a zippered closure - which is something I knew about myself going into this purchase but I did it anyway lol. I also just liked the compactness of my other wallets, it was much easier to transition into any bag with the Victorine or a card holder. So if you really love more compact wallets, then the Victorine would be a great choice!

So, I’m actually debating on selling the clemence! The only reason being is I find myself enjoying my smaller wallets more. So I think it all depends on whether you are a compact wallet person or larger wallet person. I absolutely love the wallet itself, I have no issue with it - I just find myself always gravitating toward my compact wallet / card holders. I haven’t sold it yet but debating on it! Hope this helps!

It’s great! It was my daily driver for a while after I got it. I switch out now that I have more SLGs but it’s still in excellent condition. The only time I noticed some stress was if I had too many bills. But it still holds a good amount of cash before that becomes an issue. Personally of the two, victorine is my winner. I sold my clemence bc I just hated having to zip/unzip it when I wanted to get things in it. The victorine is basically a full size wallet but compact, which I love. You don’t need to fold bills to make them fit unlike card holders, etc. I also like with the victorine that I can grab a card from the top card slots without even opening the wallet lol But if you don’t mind the zip, clemence is still a great piece!
I know this video is old but it helped me decide on which wallet to get and I’m going with the Victorian wallet now to decide which color to get damier ebene red or damier ebene with the pink 🤔😅

I think you can’t go wrong with either like you said however it really boils down to preference. If she prefers a snap closure then definitely go for victorine. If she likes having a zipper then go for clemence. I’d say that’s the most important thing to consider between these two.
