You can also make accounts on the other servers depending on what season your in so 2 per server and enter that season passage gain warrant sit in port for 300 gems. When gems run out delete start again get. Level 10 ship works fine and you get enough speed ups to get it within a couple hours
Yeah guild symbols buff reputation, it's pretty much the point (apart from cosmetics) they let you get rep from flagship kills, kraken and freighters... got the feeling I'm forgetting something lol The only problem is if you sink an armed merchant while running a guild symbol, you'll *LOSE* some rep. Bad times, don't do it
A couple things I think you should have mentioned- 1) Autotrading between higher level ports = more gold over time 2)Trade distance between ports and also black market smuggling between ports vs. distance traveled makes a difference 3) If you are exploring a long way from home port, pick up goods before you teleport back for max payout. Would love to talk to you about this game sometime. So many interesting things to learn. No single person knows everything about this crazy game.

Better way is if you sink 5 merchant ships then hunt down 10 armed freighters you will have your rep back.

I had about 1500 warrants. You get the warrants from your gang salary - among other things
