Function of plinth Beam.
1 To stop dampness.
2 To transfer load uniformly. 3.To avoid cracks in super structure if foundation settle down means avoid differential settlelment. 3.tie all column to increase its strength.

Horizontal DPC is applied just above the plinth beam before the begging the masons work or brick wall work above the plinth beam, while vertical DPC should be done from ground level to the plinth level (300-400/450mm) from inside.
The info on vertical DPC needs to be verified.

Plinth beam ground level pe karne ke bad...3 feet height tak brick work karne ke bad doc dalni padegi....Ya plinth beam hi 3 feet unchai par dalega...Sath hi column ki gehrai se hi brick work hoga ya ground level se.
I have purchased a north face plot of 25'×80' size. West side a street of 12' breadth. On the north side main road. I watched the video related Plinth beam /DPC. Depth my plot from road level is arround 4'. I want to install Plinth beam at the height of 5' from land level/foundation beam. After filling soil up to Plinth, foundation wall with Pillar will break or not.In some cases I have seen foundation wall blows vis (fool jaati hai).
Can u pls make a video on structure of foundation for max 3 floor house of 300 yards
*No sir its not clear please explain further, tell us the level of each of the following things those come between plinth and dpc
1. plinth level from road or street
2. Sewerage pipes level
3. Soil/mitti level
4. Door Chaukath level.
5. Level of Kachay/rodi/soft floor prepared for tile work
6. Level of tile work on floor
7. Level of slope
8. Level of squarting
9. Finally level of DPC.
Define the level of each from road level if porche height is 2 feet above road and if rooms are futher 8" higher.
Sir agar keval plinth beam level per hi flooring kar diya to plumbing pipe kaise dalega. Kya isliye bhi plinth beam se 1 feet upper dpc dal kar tab flooring karna chahiye.

सर मै ग्राउंड लेवल पर ही प्लिंथ बीम डाल दिया है
ग्राउंड लेवल से मात्र 2 फीट ही ऊंचाई करके फर्श लगाना है और पर पूरा अंदर हॉल रखना है ( रूम बाय रूम नही बनाना है ) चाहते है तो क्या मै सिर्फ चारो बाउंड्री तरफ से DPC कर सकते हैं
या कैसा बेहतर रहेगा सर प्लीज बताए

Thanks.If front gates are with ventilator and interior gates are without ventilator.Then there will be difference in height of both gates.Kindly guide whether lintel beam will be laid at same level or different level. In case lintel bram is laid at same level of gates with ventilator, then how it will be laid for load bearing structure. Kindly mention diameter , nos. bars required ans spacing of stripped for plinth and lintel beam for load bearing structure.
