- This is one of the most hardest masteries, in my opinion in comparison to other masteries I've seen in the game. By far, this is one epic and longest final boss battles I've encountered in any game. The combination I was going for was a pure pet job with a high amount of intelligence. I did take on the spirit mastery, but ended up removing the points into the Lich pet to put into my other pets along with the Refresh cool down ability. For Typhon you will want resistance in VIT and Fire. I'm not 100% sure but I think the resistances stack with the pets as Typhon didn't nearly recover as much health with me and my pets (though he pretty much one shot drained them and 40-70% me from full health).
My DPS suffered since I created a resistance build against Typhon, but since the idea here is to let your pets do work and hit and run when he summons meteors that's how this pans out.
Vit 50% Fire 61% resistance.
Final Opinion: This boss makes Diablo 2 and 3 final boss an utter joke on normal. I can't imagine him on Epic or Legendary.

Good going playing it as a single class. Most people show off playing the game with so much stuff it's like shooting fish in the barrel. It takes more skill to show how much you can do with as little as possible.
But you made it hard on yourself. If you max out the plague tree, you can run circles around typhon, casting plague, and he'll be near death in about 5 minutes easy. Send a wolf in or finish him off yourself in a couple hits. Epic, it takes much longer, but it's the same.

Great, I just beat Typhon (in Anniversary edition), and was wondering if the ending is slightly different without IT. It is. Just what I was looking for.

hey man you probably dont care about it 3 years later but im playing full nature now my build is different from yours and i beated typhon x3 faster :)
That all depends if you hit dislike or like ;-) thanks for watching. I didn't do a full nature build though i had other points in other areas but kinda screwed them up which made the fight a lot harder.
hey, cool that you answered. i max my skills this way: i maxed wolfs 1st skill, then 2nd, then i maxed nymph 1st skill, then 2nd and i puted in ALL nature skills 1 point. i then maxed wolfs lvl 3 skill, but i found that actualy maxing that wall of trees (skill which is left from wolfs) is making me survive much easier in fights. in combat my wolfs and myphs do a very huge damage, i just stand aside and heal them (my heal is only 1 point tho) or recast them if they are killed). the only hard times is with few guys when they all in me and my hp start to fall very fast then i just run from them in circle and wait till my wolfs kill them while casting on enemy that right side skill which is decreasing their resists, hp and speed, so thats why i decided to max the wall now so that i have more protection.
my gear i collecting is trying to be all about giving my company a physical damage bonus/hp speed boost, while trying to make myself a little more tankier.
playing nature is fun :) when i find a altar which increasing my mastery points i can cast 3 wolfs and he dont dissapear after altar buff is dissapearing.
i think after i will max my wall i will max the 3rd nymphs skill for more damage and after that i will max that HP aura i have so that we all be much much more tankier )

I'm not sure if I can this video is pretty old when I first started youtubing. I know that most skills had some sort of Nature buff to my Nature spells and I think INT as well as my pets. I hope this helps!
I also farmed in the crypts area (the place with the four huge tombs I think?). I found that the best place to get drops for resistances to the elements that Typhoon flings at you through out the fight. Until I had enough that I was comfortable with.

I would check Gamefaqs.com that's where I went to find how to deal with Typhoon Look for gears that help with VIT and Fire resistance. The fire will come in handy incase you get clipped by his meteors as they do a ton of damage. They will help a bit with the pets too, because your resistances are shared with the pets. Meteors will likely one shot them as they take the full force of the attack. Hope this helps!
wolfs alone cant do the job i create natural and spirit wolf and lich king look good
they can. im playing full nature build and i won typhon. my build is different than this guy is tho.
