YES. AP BURST MAGE AURORA IS THE BEST WAY TO PLAY AURORA. She gets a free phase rush is all. Literally no reason to build into that mechanic. And plus, she doesn't do burn unlike Lilia so all the items people build for her that have lots of HP and burn effects won't re trigger because you need to hit skills which her CDs are too long to utilize those to the fullest. The Max HP damage of the passive scales on AP too. Whenever I play her on quickplay as support and go against a aurora mid lane who builds tank, the enemy never catches me and whenever we exchange E-Q-Q2 I do half her HP(which is significantly higher than mine) and she does a quarter of my HP(which is significantly lower than hers) and I heal her burn.
E gains 40 dmg per level, Q gains 50 if you hit both sides & 5 per extra returning hit. considering every melee minion gets 2-3 ticks of returning damage, it's way better to level Q you'd also lose so much poke since max rank Q is about half the cooldown of max rank E
Trust me bro I thought electrocute was where its at too, but fleet, absorb life, haste and cut down together with either manaflow ring and transcendence or swap flow for scorch and it is nasty. I copied it from a guy that studied the chick as soon as she came out and even tried all these builds and man, fleet runes and malignance rush into cosmic drive and then either flame or liandrys and one ult melts everything, you just have to jump in press ur buttons and leave. Havent watched ur full video but I thought I'll drop this by to try cause I've been winning lanes all day and lots of games
@@yuzustridh3794 not just that, either mana regen or health per monster kill and do more dmg above 50% and plus 2 items minimum you get after also give you movement speed, barely anyone can chase, and ur ult sits at 50 sec, and then you have your E and portal. I sometimes hop over a wall into 4 people and just end the fight for us while the rest of my team cleans up
"Gut" is thebiggest overstatement, have you even seen what the actual numbers are? That's not gutting, that's modest balancing tbh. Look at what they're doing ti Sylas, though, that's a gut and my heart aches for Sylas mains

agreed, i tested electrocute, comet, aery, even dark harvest on her but the early sustain you get from the Fleet passive combo is insane
