Sailing out of NYC is simply beautiful. As a native New Yorker, I took the city for granted until I sail away on NCL and saw the view. Where have I been!!
As a native NY’er I have only ever cruised out of the NY. Though I’m sure there are many wonderful cruise ports, there’s just something about cruising down the Hudson River, past the Statue of Liberty 🗽 and under the Verrazano Bridge that is so magical.
I love that the TWA terminal was turned into a hotel. I flew TWA on my first trip to Europe in 1991 and realize that I basically got a very last glimpse of that golden age when I had a change of flights at JFK. (I flew PanAm back in the last few months of that airline.) My dream cruise is to take Cunard out of NYC to the UK in 2026 because it would be the 100 year anniversary of my grandmother taking the same cruise at 16 (all by herself! I think she was a debutante whose family wanted her off their hands…)
you sum up the magic of cruises so well, places you go that you've only ever seen in movies or tv shows and getting excited by things locals just have in their day to day. love it~!
Hi i just found you last week! AND have to say I am obsessed with you two! ive been watching lots of your videos and it brings me joy. I am SS with anxiety and depression and i live thru your eyes! sending much love from your adopted gram in Ct usa xoxo i hope you are able to read this
You two are so pleasant and amusing. I would love to meet you on a cruise. You both also have soothing voices and pleasant banter. I could go to sleep with your videos on at night. I've been to Bar Harbor a few times. I agree, it's like the location of a Hallmark movie. I'm surprised David didn't get a lobster roll.
took our first Princess Cruise a month ago. We dubbed the ship the geriatric cruise. We’re 60 & 70 year old ourselves and there were soooo many older and decrepid people with many many walkers. Not interested in Princess Cruises anymore as it was apparent to us that’s their dempster graphic. Surprising you both seem to like Princess so much.
Love, love, love Princess. Mom & I had quite a few cruises on Princess. YOU MUST have dinner at Sabatini's. Mom had many dietary limitations due to meds and health issues. Because of her Elite status, we had breakfast there most mornings. The Chef and Maitre D' were amazing when we had dinner there. The Chef created a special menu for Mom, more like a tasting menu dinner. We discovered Lemoncello there - like drinking sunshine!
Loved how excited you were to sail from Brooklyn - I live in Brooklyn and have cruised from Brooklyn terminal several times- it was so nice to see it through your eyes - it made me appreciate how lucky I am to be only 20 minutes from the Brooklyn terminal ❤ We do this cruise itinerary every 4th of July on QM2 - if you like this itinerary it’s a great experience to be in Boston for Independence Day
I want cruise with you guys! You both always seem to have so much fun and have such a warm and friendly camera presence. Keep making these great videos, they're a nice substitute until I'm on the ship myself!
I live in Maine and when the pandemic hit I had a driving pass so I could go hike. On one of my little driving/hiking trips I popped in the Bar Harbor. All the stores were open but people were not allowed to go inside so you had to look through the window if you want to buy something and they would bring it out to you. I bought something from one of the little shops and told the owner to keep the change. She nearly teared up over this tiny little bit of money. I'm so glad that the businesses have survived and the tourists are back to help them again. It kickstarted my my travel seeing the effect that not having business was having on these little shops. I have been traveling as much as I can in order to help all the people who were affected in the tourist industry. In 3 weeks I'm going on a 12 day Central American cruise.
...put a wig on me and call me Elton John. Such a cute little admirable attempt by David. Glad you enjoyed the New England/Canada cruise. My sister and I did it in September and it was memorable to say the least.
Was so great seeing your reaction to leaving out of NYC. Living near Philadelphia , we've cruised out of NY/NJ many times, but watching you experience it was the best thing.
I was so excited to watch this tonight! It was like I couldn’t miss my favorite show. Thank you for putting out entertaining, warm, light-hearted content to counteract so much else in the world!
I’ve sailed into NYC on a Disney WBTA and it was so amazing! Coming into Manhattan at sunrise, going under the Verrazano bridge and seeing the Statue of Liberty were unforgettable!
So happy you enjoyed Bar Harbor! I am a born and bred New Englander, and it is one of my favorite places to visit. The Canadian cruise is one we will be repeating, and now, I will be looking at the Princess line to book!
It was good seeing they finally put good use to the TWA Terminal 5. It really should designated by landmarks preservation because of its vast history. I first embarked on a flight from here way back in the 1960s. The 'Mushroom' building, as we called it back then, laid abandon for so many years after the demise of TWA. Thank you for sharing.
My fiance and I are actually going up to Maine and Bar Harbor specifically for our honeymoon in October!! It looks so gorgeous. Also, David impersonating Ben was hilarious! It was the eyebrows that had me cackling! 🤣
I’ve watched a ton of your videos, but this one was just delightful. I’m a New York City person, through and through, and you guys made me smile so much just watching your enthusiasm over everything. I’m so glad you had such a great time. Come back any time! You saw more of the New England coast than I’ve seen.
Just an idea, for when you check off Alaska, you should sail out of San Francisco! Similar type of sail away as New York with city views and you get to go under the Golden Gate Bridge.. and you'll still most likely have a stop in Seattle where most Alaska cruises start anyways. 😁
You all are doing one of my bucket list cruises!!! I am an Anne of Green Gables super fan, so I've always wanted to see Prince Edward Island in Canada. Enjoy!!!
I love your enthusiasm for Bar Harbor, Maine… your discovery of Whoopie-pies had me laughing aloud. You are both so joyful. I’m thoroughly enjoying all your videos, but this one is extra special. 🍁
You guys are so adorable. I’m petty so I don’t usually like watching vacation or cruise blogs and seeing others have a good time, but upon doing research for what to pack for a cruise I came upon this video and I love how humble, down to earth, and charmed by you and your visit to New England!
You guys are simply the best!!! I am always so entertained by your videos. I get so many good laughs with all Ben’s funny sayings. We love New England too!!!
I have so much fun watching your videos. This one had me cracking up. You are practically an Ad for Hallmark Channel movies, with all the "how cute" and "so American". It's what we are like visiting England, oohh. Ahh!. I live in Colorado, no cruises here in the middle of the US. But I lived years ago in Maine, and so fun seeing you explore it!
I'm glad you came to my home town of Brooklyn NY. I love your take on Bar Harbor and the food description is lovely. I noticed no nightly entertainment.
Saw you both at Disneyland CA a few weeks ago; late welcome to the best coast! We were visiting the mouse from Vancouver to get our Rise of the Resistance on, and we were chilling on Main Street with some snacks. I joked with my partner that you two looked a lot like Ben and David, and they were like, "wait a minute, I think that is Ben and David!". Hope y'all had fun! The NYC to QB cruise is on our bucket list, likely later 2023 or mid 2024. The east coast is so much more OG than the west coast, and the buildings and towns have so much more history.
That “big bridge” you passed under is called the Verrazano and I used to live right near there, and watched all the ships go by. One day I hope to cruise from NY to see my old apartment
I recently found you both from your Icon of the seas video (because we are hoping to book for the end of the year) but I have ended up watching so much of your content because your happiness & enthusiasm is so contagious! I'm a fellow cruise lover and I believe I've found my new favourite YT channel! Keep it up x ❤
My husband and I took a honeymoon cruise on Anthem of the Seas and stopped in Bar Harbor. Loved it so much, 4 years later ( last September ) we flew there and stayed for 3 nights!
Gosh this made me giggle. All the sayings and expressions. I love these boys so much! And so heartening to hear you have cruising in Australia on your bucket list. Please come down under you will both love it!!
I love Bar Harbor too…..so glad y’all are having fun in Maine, but sorry you missed Newport. You’ll have to comeback ( maybe that 23 day cruise which sounds really delightful!).
We left from NYC, on the Norwegian Breakaway, in the exact same weather!! Pouring rain, in early October!! I waved goodbye, to the Statue of Liberty, from inside!! The rest of the trip, to the Bahamas, was amazing!!
LOL. Your love of Bar Harbor is delightful -- and deserved, because it's a lovely place. I know you are cruisers, but you might consider a trip around New England or other part of the US. For all our flaws, it really is a wonderful (and varied) country!
Just love your reviews, they are really honest: when things are not good, you say so but when they are good, you also rave. Just love the way you two are so cute together, teasing each other (like the airplane thing). Have you ever cruised to South Africa? You'd love Cape Town and Durban (the curry capital of the world outside India).
Wow - it always amazes me that this is some people’s home port - stunning! I’ve done both Alaska and Australia this year, and would MASSIVELY recommend them!
Glad you guys enjoyed one of our favorite vacation areas. Next time, if you like blueberries, try the muffins or pancakes. If time allows, take a ride up to Cadillac Mountain. It's the highest point on the eastern US seaboard and has awsome views of the town.
I am so excited you enjoyed New England!!! It really is a beautiful area to live in and Bar Harbor is stunning. Next time you visit you will need a longer stay.
This brought back happy memories. We did our first Princess cruise last autumn, started in Toronto, across land then boarded in Quebec. We’ve been to the New England area and NYC previously and always loved it. We had stops in Canada before cruising down to Bar harbour which was a delight as was the tour of Acadia park. The cruise ended in NYC and we came in at sunrise. Omg it was stunning with the rising sunlight on Manhattan
This video is so fun!! My partner and I were on the Discovery Princess last November and we loved it! Glad you both enjoyed Maine….I’ve never been but watching this makes me want to plan a trip.
I absolutely love watching your videos. You are so fun and funny. I watch a lot of other cruise videos, and yours are by far the best. Thank you for doing what you do
You guys are absolutely wonderful. I am such a fan!! I am from NYC but have never done this cruise. I now live in Canada (Ontario) and this cruise is definitely on my short list. Thank you for posting this I look forward to all of your videos
Love your excitement. I'm cruising from NYC to New England and Canada next August (2024). All my life I've been wanting to see Maine, the Northeastern Seacoast. Soooo excited, beyond excited. Your video really was wonderful.
I love how you kept saying Bar Harbor was like Disneyworld. That’s what I kept saying in Ketchican, Alaska. Then you realize Disney designs its lands off of these magical little places. 🤯
came for the scenery, stayed for the "slap me with a habit and call me whoopi goldberg." i love you both.
My aunt just gifted this exact cruise for my fiancé and myself for our honeymoon in September 2023! I can’t wait!!
As a native New Englander, your love of Maine is making me so incredibly happy. ❤️❤️
Same thing here
I love how excited you guys are about all the cute American stuff. Even us Americans think Maine is adorable!
David's Ben impression had me laughing out loud!
“Hit me with a coconut and call me a castaway” Love it! 😂❤️

What a cool story!!! I HOPE you take your dream cruise 🛳
I’ve never been on a cruise. Ran across this channel and I’m hooked on these guys. Make me 😊and want to cruise!
you sum up the magic of cruises so well, places you go that you've only ever seen in movies or tv shows and getting excited by things locals just have in their day to day. love it~!

One of the most amazing things about TWA is the attention to detail harkening back to a different era of jet travel
The Ben-isms in Bar Harbor are really top notch in this one. 🎉😅
Princess ships are my favorite🩷. And the cruise out of NYC to NE and Canada is fabulous. I’m so envious I’m not on this beautiful ship.
I want cruise with you guys! You both always seem to have so much fun and have such a warm and friendly camera presence. Keep making these great videos, they're a nice substitute until I'm on the ship myself!

I spent my childhood watching the ships sail out under the Verrazano Bridge ❤️❤️❤️

I agree, I sail out of NYC many times. I'm from Pennsylvania.
Hi Kelly. Are you related to Dennis? Nice man.
@@RaggedyAnn66where in PA r u from im from Reading hbu????
I was so excited to watch this tonight! It was like I couldn’t miss my favorite show. Thank you for putting out entertaining, warm, light-hearted content to counteract so much else in the world!
LOVED the virtual visit to Bar Harbor with you guys! So many great memories of our visits there. Just made me smile flashing back. Thank you!

I love sitting in the Piazzas of the Princess Cruise ships. The decors are amazing
Totally agree I always make it a point to use the stairs whenever I go on a cruise.
You guys are the best. You do carpe diem better than the rest.
My fiance and I are actually going up to Maine and Bar Harbor specifically for our honeymoon in October!! It looks so gorgeous.

Thank you! Such an iconic skyline it always take our breath away
You all are doing one of my bucket list cruises!!! I am an Anne of Green Gables super fan, so I've always wanted to see Prince Edward Island in Canada. Enjoy!!!

Suzanne & I are doing this next month so we are noting tips from your experiences. Thank you. Toodle-pip.🇬🇧🥂🇺🇸⚒
Your enthusiasm is wonderful, infectious and warming on a cold fall day. Thank you!
Dear beauties....that's where I want to go when I eventually take a cruise...glad to see you. smiles
I love all the videos. I’m precariously living through y’all.
Omg when Ben said the gothic dressed girl ruined the moment I laughed so hard. Would love to cruise with you guys ❤

I like the way you measure things by comparing them to the size of your head! Love Maine! It’s my favorite place to go!
My fav Vloggers! Y’all are FABULOUS!!⭐️💫
David seems more happy. I thought the last few times I have seen him he did not seem himself but a lot happier today great looking ship
I thought he'd lost a lot of weight and looked anxious. Hopefully nothing more than work stress. I was a bit concerned too
As a native New Yorker, l just want to say I LOVE Y'ALL DAVID & BEN❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!

you never heard of a whoopie pie? best dessert ever! Loads of recipes on the internet, have fun baking them at home.
I’m from Maine and I adored your reactions of Bar harbor. So funny and sweet
You guys really love life! You put a smile on my face!
I love Bar Harbor 💕. It’s bee too long since I’ve been there. You’ve inspired me to book a cruise to New England
Just love your reviews, they are really honest: when things are not good, you say so but when they are good, you also rave. Just love the way you two are so cute together, teasing each other (like the airplane thing). Have you ever cruised to South Africa? You sailed right under the George Washington Bridge which is about 20 yards from my apartment. If only I'd known, I could've waved as you passed by!😁
Oh....so sorry you missed Newport. You would have liked it. It is a lovely town.
Okay, you've convinced me that Bar Harbour is on my bucket list. Love Princess, and hopefully, we'll find a repositioning from Sydney to U.S.
Those are the best looking disco fries I’ve ever seen
I Love Princess Cruises. I am going on the Diamond Princess on January 22, 2023 . I can't wait. They have the best Caeser Salad in the world. 🥰
Wow - it always amazes me that this is some people’s home port - stunning! I’ve done both Alaska and Australia this year, and would MASSIVELY recommend them!
You guys make me laugh so much. Your excitement is contagious
Just discovered your channel the other. So neat to you visiting Bar Harbor and recognizing the streets and landmarks.
Glad you guys enjoyed one of our favorite vacation areas. Next time, if you like blueberries, try the muffins or pancakes. If time allows, take a ride up to Cadillac Mountain. It's the highest point on the eastern US seaboard and has awsome views of the town.
You guys are hilarious! Enjoyed your adventure
Love this ! I have so much fun with you both on these tours. You're the best!
Been to Bar Harbor, glad you enjoyed this beautiful place 😊

I live about an hour from bar harbor and I loved seeing you get to visit. Fall is the best time of year here and I'm so happy you loved it!
I have family in Bar Harbor and it is so funny to see Ben & David's reactions to my familiar sights 😹
Such a cute town
Thanks for taking me down memory lane. I love Bar Harbor!
It was really great to see your genuine reactions to Bar Harbor, a totally new experience for you two. I giggled a few times. Great vlog!
I agree! I adore Bar Harbor! I’m so glad they enjoyed it!
Thank you for posting this
I look forward to all of your videos
Ben, your sayings are priceless! Also, Bar Harbor is amazing. Such a fun vlog!
Love your excitement. I'm cruising from NYC to New England and Canada next August (2024). All my life I've been wanting to see Maine, the Northeastern Seacoast. Soooo excited, beyond excited. Your video really was wonderful.
i absolutely adore maine! Seeing you fawn over it is great.
I hope you loved Canada!!! So close but oh so far!!! I live near Niagara Falls, ON Canada. Love your content. Thanks Guys!!
Love sailing from New Jersey and New York! Did it 4 times this year and the city views on sail away are incomparable.
You guys will love cruising to Alaska then. Its very atmospheric as you said :-)
I sailed from Rosyth going to the Baltic and you go under the Three Forth Bridges. A great feeling,
Omg u guys always Crack me up can't weight for the next episode. Have fun 👍
I love how you kept saying Bar Harbor was like Disneyworld. That’s what I kept saying in Ketchican, Alaska. Then you realize Disney designs its lands off of these magical little places. 🤯
Wow! you guys are just a hoot! I want to cruise with you! Great video!
