Ipun it’s very common for people to call cards with certain effects the name of one of the original cards to have that effect. Examples would be like calling search cards “rota”s after reinforcement of the army, calling things that send cards from deck to grave “foolish”s after foolish burial, or in the case, calling any monster that’s immune to most card effects “towers” after the original apoqliphort towers. It’s just an easy way to quickly inform people what cards do without reading out the whole effect, and it’s just become very common at this point

Cant you do the same "hostage" set by adding Wisdom-Eye Magician with Pendulum Call? The Pendulum Call would prevent Wisdom-Eye from destroying itself so you could activate it as many times as you want, just like that hostage deck, but without having to go through all the trouble of getting Omega in the GY with Necrovalley on the field
So that Dragon les Dragon deck was actually pretty solid. Np dragons could be targeted nor destroyed and he had a pop. Basically Dragun without the negate
EDOPRO doesn't put a limit on the number of activations of Omega because then it wouldn't work as intended. You cannot use a computer to know whether a certain code will run indefinitely or will halt. That's one of the most basic limitations of computers because it LITERALLY creates paradoxes a computer cannot handle. Also you, as a programmer, cannot accurately predict what an user will do. The hostage deck sucks but it works as intended.
Think you're over complicating this. All they need to do is give omega a hidden limit of uses per turn like 20 or something and it wouldn't allow this to happen
A computer cannot determine whether a certain code will run indefinitely or not, but it can still count. EDOPro just needs to have a failsafe that checks to see if a sequence of moves/actions has been repeated a set amount of times (say about 20-30 times) without any change in LP or card advantage, and then end the game automatically. That doesn't require the computer to know that the sequence will repeat indefinitely, it just has to be able to recognize the sequence and count how many times the sequence has happened, which is completely feasible.
