    Asuna has 2 OSS's, "Quadruple Pain" (4 hits) and "Starry Tear" (5 hits).
    Kirito's known OSS is "Deadly Sins" (7 hits), though its apparent speed and accuracy is probably decidedly better than Eugene's Skill, despite having 1 less hit.
    Props for using "Roundabout" by Yes at the end.

      Quadruple Pain is not an OSS. It was used by her in Aincrad.

      "Quadruple Pain" is mentioned nowhere in Volumes 1, 2, 8, or "The Day Before" from Vol. 22. Also, Mother's Rosario predates Progressive.
      In addition, note is made of "Starry Tear" being the only 5-hit combo Asuna managed to compile. This would seem to be a contextual clue that "Quadruple Pain" was a 4-hit Skill she put together.

      @@Villoresi I believe it's the skill that Asuna used against Gleam Eyes. Also, you haven't checked Progressive.

      @@ardudes484 There is no mention of it in Volume 1, Chapter 11, either in the Fan Translation PDF or the official Yen Press version.
      Using the Wiki as a quick, interim measure, it doesn't look like Asuna can use even 3-hit Skills until Floor 6. We do see that one Dark Elf Lord use more advanced Rapier Skills in the fight at the castle in the middle of the lake on Floor 4, but he's obviously not a player.
      It comes up in Sugary Days 7, Part 2. I'm still suspicious on why the section is worded like it is in Mother's Rosario; it sort of implies Asuna has created 4-hit OSS's, and they just so happened to have mentioned a 4-hit Skill.
      Who knows. Maybe it slipped Reki's mind in the over 5 years between Vol. 7 and Material Edition 16, or the more than 10 years between Mother's Rosario in the Web Novel and ME:16.
      And "Sugary Days" doesn't even have an official translation yer; however, it would be nice if it did get one.

      I meant that Kirito might just think about some of the higher-level Rapier skills, which would make it come up in the book.
      Also, Viscount Yofilis used Flashing Penetrator.

    Starburst stream 🖤 is the coolest OSS in the show . I wish kirito uses it in this season

    Ah yes, in Sword Art Online: Re Hollow Fragment (Game Version I think that the not Re version one doesn't have it, but I could be wrong) it is still described as OSS (Original Sword Skill) in which you unleash a series of Sword Skills one after another making a unique combo attack that is one of the end game content. You do OSS by timing it perfectly (or just on time with it too is possible after you do Implement thingy at a high level to do OSS easier) at the "cancel" period (the flashing lights) of each type of Sword Skills; there are some that come slower - at the middle of Sword Skill animation - and most are at the end of Sword Skills. But in Anime or the Original version, it is different indeed - exclusively your own making.
    But in SAO Hollow Realization it is called SSC (Sword Skill Chain) which is basically the same, but this time with a few gimmicks, such as SS requires SP (Stamina Point) to use and while it doesn't have a long cooldown as Hollow Fragment do, it could be hard to manage your timing rightly and SP management when we're on the beginning to middle part of the game progression. Also while the number of SSC you could do was few at the start, later on, it could shoot up to 33 for average and maximum around 50 I think (with a few buffs and Rank passive buff bonus); whilst in HF you could only do a maximum of 11 OSS for basic SS and finishes with an Ultimate SS. As for SAO Last Song, I don't remember any though, sorry; the almost same on Fatal Bullet and Lycoris as I haven't played both of them.

    Is multi hit OSS is always stronger or not? Because sword skills like "Avalanche" a strong 1 hit 2 handed sword skill needs multiple hits to be stopped.
    And can OSS be more varied? For example a counter OSS?

      Short answer: it depends.
      Long answer: It's more case to case basis. Generally it's same rule as normal sword skills. Longer skill (more attacks) -> longer animation and post skill delay. If you know how to defend against long sword skill it can we weaker than short ones, because of massive delay (like in Heathcliff Vs Kirito duel after floor 75 boss battle, where Kirito lost because he activated his strongest 27-hit sword skill Eclipse). Basically high payoff, but high risk if enemy knows how to defend it
