Reading the comments, I'm wondering if I am listening to the same song as some of the other people posting here. The message I am getting in this song is an emotional resignation from beating one's head against the same walls again and again. But I guess everyone is entitled to their own interpretations. I think my take from it can kinda fit with yours. For me the song is about settling for less in life because making hard decisions suck. So its easier to settle and its somehow pleasurable to resign away from reality
