Canon A70 teardown / CCD repair

Mine is just plain blank black screen and photos are black. All menus etc show so its not the LCD. Where do you get a CCD for it?

The video was useful in persuading me not to attempt this - it didn’t even need a second instalment to show how to install a new sensor and put it all back together again.

Thanks for doing the vid and trying to help, but most of the vid showed the camera almost out of shot at top of screen ? Too far away to see details.
Also you used white base and the details inside camera were too dark.
Surely you must understand exposure and framing and closeup ?
