You can try sticking the loose glitter with eyelash glue (translucent) over your lid while looking down so it doesn't roll back into the socket. Then either use a flat synthetic eye brush or simply use your finger and pat it on. The application will be easier and less frustrating. Also, for eyeshadow colors to show up, USE A WHITE CREAM BASE. The james charles palette is pretty pigmented but I understand the yellow doesn't show up without a white base. It makes any color POP.
