Field Marshal Montgomery's Braes of Badenoch set at the 2018 Scottish Championships in Dumbarton

Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band under Pipe Major Richard Parkes playing in the Grade One Scottish Pipe Band Championships held in Dumbarton in Levengrove Park on 28 July 2018.
The band's MSR set was:
March: The Braes of Badenoch [PM William MacLean]
Strathspey: Blair Drummond [traditional]
Reel: Pretty Marion [traditional]
The band marched on to the field and started its performance during a heavy, blustery shower of rain. The rain had cleared by the end of the band's set.
Field Marshal Montgomery was placed third overall in the Grade One Championship.

Its very refreshing to hear an unusual march such as the Braes of Badenoch in a Grade 1 performance. Played with conviction and great expression
