I have a theory why V doesn't show his talent much. Remember when first debuted he was BTS's secret weapon and his presence alone as the secret weapon makes people pay more attention to him. So he acts like this because he doesn't want to be overshadowing the others.

Why you can't watch Hwarang now? He was literally so cute there. The last scene showed in this video happens in 18th episode and before that you have 17 hours with Tae mostly being his playful self, the role fitted him so well. I really recommend it, he can make a heart flatter multiple times throughout the drama, there's a lot more going on~
