You're welcome! You and another athlete asked for warm-up and cool-down ideas on the same day so I thought I better made these vids!! Warm-up is here if you didn't see it: th-cam.com/video/ws3GwLE06I8/w-d-xo.html

So glad to have found your vlogs. I’m learning so much and I’ve been running for years. Thank you!

That's a great cool down routine, thank you! I need to be more diligent with post-run stretching

      You're welcome, Chloe!
Totally get it. Sometimes when I squeeze in my run between meetings, etc. this is the first thing to go. But I know it's so important so I'm trying to make the time I need!

very nice Jane, I'm surprised that my 57 year old body can do almost all of these, I'm definitely not as graceful in the transitions as you are, but wow, it almost seems like I'm going in the right direction, thank you for all the video's you make, and have an AWESOMENESS weekend

You are so welcome!! I love being able to provide helpful advice to fellow runners or simply pass on what's worked for me. Heck yeah it's working...that's exactly what consistency will do! Isn't it great to defy what society tells us is going to happen to us as we age? Who says we can't be our most healthy selves?? Hope you have an awesome weekend and thanks for tuning in!

This is so much better than what I was doing lol! Love the additions with the hip openers! Thanks, Jane: )

You're so welcome, Karli! I'm a little green with the videography of these types of videos 😆 but the routine is sound haha and works well!

Jane, new to your channel from Devrunner. I love all these stretches. Much respect to your message doing dynamic stretches to warm up and static stretches at the end. I look forward to learning more from you on your channel.

Welcome, Sharon - so glad you're here! I have been consistent for a long time with dynamic stretching pre-run, but am often too in a hurry to complete the static stretching after. But once visiting a PT, I realized the importance of this step and not skipping it, so hoping to pass that on to other runners to follow suit! If you ever have specific running questions as you dive back into running more, feel free to ask!

Jane, you sound like me. After a run I would be in the shower saying darn I forgot to stretch. I am preaching it so much on my channel. I too learned it from a physical therapist even though I should know better as a personal trainer lol.

Excellent routine - I do these regularly now (not just after a run) and the mobility aspect has made a significant improvement to my wellbeing!

Hi Jane , wow , your channel is growing fast 😳 sorry I don't comment often , been busy with work golf and flying , ~ This video couldn't of come at a better time , Hurt my hip a few days back playing golf , hurt it by trying to murder a ball down the 6th fairway , over extended I think anyhoo , just tried a few of these exercises and boy I can feel it . will definitely use some of these in my routine warm up . Take care and All the best 😊

Thanks so much, Jon! Never any expectation - glad you could stop by today and say hi! Started this YT journey almost exactly a year ago...1,200 subs later and still usually have more questions than answers haha but happy I've stuck with it and going to keep grinding!
Sorry to hear about your injury...I feel like those things just come out of nowhere usually. Glad to hear the stretches helped you today and hope you're back to your golf game stat!
