    This is one of my favorite projects, you've shown! I've worked with similar projects in a smaller scale, using decoupage. I didn't realize how easy spray adhesive would be. Now I'm so gonna try going bigger! Thanks for sharing!

    I have exactly that model that I just pulled out of my bathroom and took to the curb. This popped up in my feed. I had to haul that sucker back into the garage. How serendipitous was that?!

    I just love your videos. That cabinet turned out great. As I am building our haunt, I realize how many things I have learned from you. My dog, Rocko, is 13 years old & he gets lonely & barks continuously while I am outside so I turn on your videos on autoplay & that keeps him happy. Plus he is learning so much! Thank you for that too. LOL

    I'm always fascinated by projects like this. I was skeptical of how it would look when you just had one side done, by it really came together the more you covered it up. I would never have imaged that would look so good without seeing it for myself.

    Wife made a bookshelf for the kids' room using pictures cut from an old Richard Scarry book. Her weapon of choice is ModPodge; uses it to glue the pages to the work surface, and another coat over the top to seal it off. She swears by the stuff for her crafting needs.
    It's also worth mentioning that ModPodge is basically Elmers glue and water (2:1 ratio of each, respectively).

    People can use these techniques to make some money...Cool items like this at flea markets or sold at horror conventions would be a hit...I took an old broken radio from the 1920's and took out all inside parts and replaced with a mini strobe light...Looks awesome with the light flickering from within...Gave to my sister as a gift, she still uses it:)

      its good in theory but not always accurate. i dont think the ouija art you used is legal...the name ouija and the board design is owned by hasbro. did someone just alter the real art to make it different, that still doesnt make it originalor legal so you still need to be careful. for instance, I think Lady Orlando (from Virginia Wolfe's novel Orlando) would make a wonderful costume shop name (since the person lived as both male and female for several centuries, yada yada you get it) but it is still copyrighted in the USA although it fell out of copyright in the uK

    Great project. Think I'd do that to my bathroom cabinets for year around use, heh heh!
    Had a couple of thoughts. Have you worked with any decoupage medium, like mod podge and how does it compare with the spray adhesive method? Also, painted lacquer! When I was a kid I used to visit my neighbor's workshop, and he had this jig made of a line of nails on wood which had become coated with lacquer from years of painting and dust accumulation. It looked like rotting goop, and I always think of it for creepy workshop settings like this.

    • @StiltbeastStudios
      @StiltbeastStudios  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Voodoo Ghoul Mod podge will work fine for this, its good stuff but you still need to seal it for moisture protection. The walls at Distortions shop in Greely Co are covered in sprayed latex from all the spraying they have done over time, kinda like the jig you described. Time and layers man.
