Standing at the forefront of nurturing talents and showcasing the greatness of the Filipino race on the international stage, WCOPA Team Philippines serves as the official body representing the country in what is known as the ‘Talent Olympics’ in the performing arts - the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA).
For nearly two (2) decades since 2005, WCOPA Team Philippines has been instrumental in propelling numerous Filipino artists to international acclaim. This 2024, the Team brought home 269 medals and awards, consisting of gold, silver and bronze medals, finalist and semifinalist medals, division winner plaques, one (1) New York Film Academy Scholarship, five (5) New York Conservatory Dramatic Scholarships and one (1) Jeff Webber Scholarship.
Beyond just joining international competitions, WCOPA Team Philippines is committed to advocating for a better Philippines through the transformative power of performing arts, nurturing the next generation of artists who will continue to raise the Philippine flag on top of the world.
