    Thank you so much for this. I spent a lot of time in Eastbourne when I was young and moved there when I was in my twenties. For me, Eastbourne will always be where I'm from if I'm asked. It was truly wonderful from a child's prospective. I used to love a trip out on the William Alcorn around Beachy Head lighthouse or a visit to the RNLI lifeboat station. In between, fresh apricots sold on the promenade and Walls Cornish ice cream. All just magic to me. I live now somewhere where we probably have the best beaches in the world but there's always a place in my heart for the memories of my times in Eastbourne now long ago.
