I learn to be independent. Before pandemic, I keep on relaying on people around me (my friends) like how I with things and situations. Going through pandemic, I learned to be more independent, I realized that I could do things by myself and that boosted my confidence. I learned to make decisions for myself. I learned to be more productive on the process and realized to not always rely on people around you. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have no choice but to isolate ourselves in our homes to avoid being infected by the virus. The lockdown may continue longer than we want to and people are challenged to keep working despite the pandemic. Others continue to enjoy their time at home with their families and friends. As for me, I realized that this can also be a good opportunity to reflect on ourselves. My usual routine is to sleep really late and play games until sunrise. I skip breakfast and sometimes lunch and don’t make time for exercise at all. I’ve never stepped outside once since quarantine began and honestly, I felt weak and tired after that usual all play, no sleep routine. Sometimes, I would even stare into space during family dinners, watch them have fun while feeling nothing but an empty shell. I grew sadder each day until I came across a mirror. I stood there for a minute, observing every single detail of myself, from my eye bags, lean arms, sad mouth, until I actually saw and realized what I truly felt inside. I felt very disappointed. I laid on my bed, stared on the ceiling, and asked myself two simple questions: Is this who I want to become? Is this the kind of person I want others to see? I swiftly answered no and from that moment, I made a personal commitment to become a better version of myself. It’s not easy to fight the urges to play, but I realized that if you want to change, you also need to be willing to sacrifice certain habits. Slow progress is still progress and every day, I would look in the mirror and see physical changes and a happier me. It’s a cliché, but change is constant. Change doesn’t happen overnight, too. We can all change for the better, but I hope that we do it not only for ourselves but also to become a better person for others.
I met a girl who had a problem with her self esteem. i saw her beauty and kindness and gave her my time. 3 days later We became an item. Then 1 year later she still doesn't believe its real so I played this song to her in my car on a stary night.........she is now my life🥰🥰🥰💍
I was broke and alone, depressed and kept thinking all sorts of nonsense stuff. Then she came and supported me in my bad times. She indeed had painted me with her love and today she became the colour of my life and I got a job as PA to a minister. 😁😁
