The UIF Commissioner memo states that the "UIF Auditing Powers" are contained in the MOA but the auditors cannot supply the signed MOA. I certainly never received a fully signed MOA (signed by both parties). In my view this means that they don't have the authority to conduct the audits.

Good day Heinrich - this is just a note to ask you and others that got the letters of UIF appointing an Auditing firm - the letter we got was signed by the 'suspended" Mr T Maruping Minister of Labour - what is the legitimacy of the UIF appointing letter to an Auditing company in this case? Surely a letter signed and send after suspension can't be legit - are there others on this group that noted it? As bookkeepers our first responsibility is to keep our clients confidential information safe?
