    Sensational. I'm still riding the high from the Deity TC-SL1, and now this drops!! Too good!

    This is such a great move from Deity. I know there have been standard brands for production and a lot of time people are mostly snob about new ones. However product like this are easier for people to try Deity product. Eventually they will open up to every product to your catalogue. Kudos! I'm really waiting for a new party to come in in an industry that there are only few players that are being trusted. I love it!

    This seems very useful for a portable live broadcast station. Switcher, monitors and video transmitter. I would love to try it on my team. Congratulations for this innovation that I am sure will be of great help to the industry.

    Great product. I wouldn't have much use for this currently but nice to know something like this exists for when I upgrade.

    I was looking power system for my field recording kit and it ends here.
    Very good products. Lets see how these devices can handle the recording enviroments?
    Moisture... -20 celcius... etc...

    I would really love a smaller version with 4 outputs! The current version would take a little bit too much room in my bag

    Hi Andrew! Great product!
    How do you power the SPD-1 with the Ta4 input on Mixpre series ? Do we need a Ta4 to hirose cable when using the MX-HIROSE DC ?
    Thanks

    • @DeityMicrophones
      @DeityMicrophones  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Other way around. You need the MX-HIROSE adapter for your MixPre, and then you'd use the SPD-HRHR cable to link your MixPre to the SPD-1. Ideally you'd use Output #1 for your MixPre.

    • @guytourreau
      @guytourreau ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DeityMicrophones Okay for that but the SPD1 will be powered by the battery. Do we need exclusively the SPD-T4BATT for that? I only got NP1. I'll have to change my batteries I guess ?

    Is there a certain AC to DC power supply with a TA4F connection that you all would recommend in order to provide house power to the SPD-1? Or is there a different method you all suggest?

    Awsome!!! You should be doing smart batteries also!!!

    @DeityMicrophones If I have two batteries plugged into the inputs will it Fully drain the A- battery and auto swap to the second B-Battery or will it constantly switch between the batteries until both are fully drained?

    • @DeityMicrophones
      @DeityMicrophones  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It will pull from the unit with the highest voltage till both batteries are equal and then draw from both

    Can you plug in a USB-C power brick (Anker, Apple, etc..) in order to power the whole kit from mains power?

    • @DeityMicrophones
      @DeityMicrophones  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. You need to make sure it supports PD3 and offers 12V3A as one of its USB-C power options.

  • @lighthackerslimited
    @lighthackerslimited ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes!!!!! Can it power the DUO-RX units without a buzz?
    I have had issues with powerbanks on my 3.. to the point I have to charge the units on breaks and not in situ. AND.. if so, if I also get the HR3U (I think this is designed for use with your DUO-RX in this case)..
    Should that be on OP Group 1 or 2?
    I have a small soundbag (DOP not a soundo), so the only other thing to power is a Sound Devices MixPre6II.. Thanks

    When it switches to usb-c is that seamless without the rig turning off for a second?

    • @DeityMicrophones
      @DeityMicrophones  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is perfectly seamless. Your setup will never lose power.

  • @ryanbennett2650

    Wait, can you use the SPD-1's USB-C plugged into a wall outlet to charge the smart battery?

    Is the SPD-HRDC 2 way?

    Hi Andrew, I have a AKG SST-4500 in ear monitor system that I use for FIB. That unit works on 12V. I normally use a camera battery plate and run a cable from the 12v output of the plate to power this unit. If I use the PTap cable to power the SPD-1 and get the HIROSE to 5mm cable to power that unit using a V Mount battery (getting rid of the plate) would the SPD-1 will send more than 12V. The output of the battery via P-Tap is 14.8V. Is there a way to set the SPD-1 to send 12V to a specific output? Or can I use it like that. Thanks in advance for information.

    • @DeityMicrophones
      @DeityMicrophones  ปีที่แล้ว

      You'd need to use a cable that has an in line 12V regulator buck converter. Best bet would be to call Gotham Sound in NYC or Location Sound Corp in LA to see if they have anything like that.

    What connector will i need to connect to my Sound Devices Mix Pre3 II?

    • @DeityMicrophones
      @DeityMicrophones  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Probably going to want the Hirose battery sled from Sound Devices and a SPD-HRHR
