Very informative as usual. I do appreciate you taking the time showing the how to. Pointing out key points is what’s really needed in most cases. Thank you

Great video I'm rather new to the hobby been working on a layout for a little over a year now. I learn a lot from videos just like this. Can't wait for you to get back to the scratch build / kitbash.

@@larryrogers5996 thanks for watching Larry. Most of my videos are aimed at people new to the hobby or those getting back into it.

I've installed a number of decoders over the years, some are pretty easy some are difficult. I never thought of doing a video on it, probably if I did I would screw it up 😅. Anyway, you had a lot of good tips for those who have never done one of these. 👍

@@johnlazar7582 thanks John. I always try to keep it simple for those who are new to the hobby. Oh and I forgot to talk about the headlights and what tabs they get soldered to.

He Rob Question? Do you have to isolate the Atlas Motor from the Frame of the engine Like you have to do with old Athearn Bluebox engines? Also I would clean the solder joints with Alcohol and a acid brush cut down to about 1/8th inch. Just so the that the residue is cleaned off of the Board. Thanks Kevin

@@kba3039 no you don’t have to isolate the motor, great idea to clean the board.
