Lyrics:
Roots, bloody roots
Roots, bloody roots
Roots, bloody roots
Roots, bloody roots
I believe in our fate, we don't need to fake
It's all we wanna be, watch me freak
I say we're growing every day, getting stronger in every way
I'll take you to a place where we shall find our
Roots, bloody roots
Roots, bloody roots
Roots, bloody roots
Roots, bloody roots
Rain, bring me the strength to get to another day
And all I want to see, set us free
Why can't you see? Can't you feel?
This is real
I pray, we don't need to change our ways to be saved
That's all we wanna be, watch us freak

See Corey screaming out loud "ROOOTS BLOODY ROOOOTS" make my day better
I think the craziest thing about all these performances is how young everyone looks!
Stay young. Creators have to.
I dunno.. kinda crazy no Max&Igor
Yeah, you can tell where Andreas stands. Maybe they used some youth potion or something?
This is metal brother
'cause it was 18,5 years ago)
Paul Gray will forever have the most recognizable and iconic headband.
Ок.
That leaned forward bang!?!?
Definitely agree, but think Phil Bozeman's headbang with be right up there with him. Dude puts his entire upper body into it
Literalmente por eso supe que era él
I argue Jason Newsted
Robb Flynn definitely suits this song like a charm.
Not at all...Max all the way gtfo wit that shit...it ain't bad but No comparison to Max
@@notagain5912 Oh, sorry I hurt your feelings Mr. Closed Mind Die Hard Fan, there there.
❤
If TH-cam's algorithm is apparently so good, why am I only seeing this one for the first time?
Absolutely love this.
The amount of times I've typed roadrunner united into the search bar breh
Same in 2024 😳😒
*Joey and Paul… damn man miss these guys*
So many artists on stage together, priceless
Where's Max though!?

He Was Recording Dark Ages At The Time
An amazing compilation of the kings of metal
Slipknot,Fear Factory,Killswitch engage,Anthrax,Machine Head...melhor Roots bloody Roots da história,com certeza!
Like al the bands. Except Sulpultra. . Al I got to say...
Certeza, faltou só o soulfly do Max ali
In my opinion that’s a heavy metal army full of badasses
You forgot Divine Heresy
And StoneSour
RIP Peter Steele, as being one of the first big acts of Roadrunner Records.
This is by far one of the best version of this song.
Ти сам звідки?
Я майже і юкрен

Not at all......Must have never seen Max and Seplatura or Soulfly
This the metal music equivalent to MCU. Roadrunner was really ahead of its time back then.
Caraca ver o joey tocando blood roots é fenomenal
I love this version. Everyone's screaming their arses off!
What a time to be alive such a beautiful moment!
Рей українській самогон, музика бдет как песня
Да ти не розумієш
Amen brother!
I love sepultura's performances so much !
LoL
They sound just like the recording. If the main singer could just keep his mouth shut.. Sepultra /Ozzy.
@@davidwells2414 you don't even know who he is lol
@@Flugmorph No I do not. He is a musician. He performers for money not notoriety.
@@davidwells2414 robb flynn from machine head, i know, little knowns band.
The Best Choir EVER.
I know we will all say it, but RIP Paul and Joey man, still so tragic 💔 this was an amazing performance... and "Fuuuck Monte Conner" 😂
The whole stage is way more active than the audience lol....
i was there. there was 5 ppl moshing at random times. everyone was focused on the ppl on stage. cheering, singing and head banging along to all those great stars on stage. the crowd was mostly older concert goers in NYC. tickets were like $80-90ish dollars each (which then was insane price), and it was a stormy raining shitty night in NYC too.
@@SilverBulletStreaming - Yeah I wasn't talkin' shit or anything, just an observation is all.... but I can imagine it was a pretty cool show. I haven't been to very many rock, metal, punk, etc., style concerts, because when I was younger I enjoyed the rave type scene lol, so I was always going to the venues that put a good trace/techno/house style show.... Don't laugh damn it, I can hear you laughing at me haha.... I was a teenager damn it!! I went to the Pledge of Allegiance Tour way back in 2001 or 2002, one of the two.... So I saw Mudvane, Ramstein, System of a Down, Slipknot, and some others, and this was when all of those bands were at their highest peaks of popularity, so I saw some pretty wild stuff going on on the concert floor lol, more than one bloody nose and various other moshing injuries lol...
@@Simple_Jackass i only laughed after you said something. younger me would have been laughing way before in the comment you left haha. i didnt think you were talking shit so much as to other ppl in the comment section we definitely talking shit.
yea the tour you went too is a different animal not really once in a life time type oif shows. im sure crazy shit happened good and bad, i have been to and part of the chaos of a few crazy shows. its the nature of the beast of a metal festival show. the exception to the rule is any smaller show in NJ, they are usually fight central. NYC and Philly had the best crowds for moshing and fun when it comes to metal shows that i have been apart of. in NYC and Philly the fights/BS are usually at a minimum.
All the fake crowd noise they put on this is hilarious.
My eyes would be deadlocked on that performance! I don't think a rock in the face could get me to turn my head, if that unbelievable event unfolded before my eyes.
Paul Gray with his iconic headbanging...and Joey Jordison with his iconic grooves....it is really cool tho...
This is just SINISTER! I worked hundreds of Gigs as a Stagehand in the 90s. Few of them had the energy this has.
Essa turma fazendo sepultura EXCEPCIONAL👆😎
My favourite part is Jesse Leach giving it 10,000% with his screams in the outro.
Without a doubt one of the greatest jams ever made in metal.
love how scott ian does his stomps while playing
I wish there was a band like this.. Best show ever..
I was there (thanks to 89.5 WSOU) but didn’t realize I was witnessing history… 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼
Best concert I ever went to. Tommy Vext got me backstage, met everyone. Robb and Dino are cool as hell.
It's nice seeing a bunch of fans having a blast
Very good..I loved man .. thnx for taking my worries away… Long Live Metal 🤘🤘🤘🤘
This video is how I envision HEAVEN…
Hell ✊🏼
Hell awaits us all!! Save me a seat brother 🤘😁🤘
Literally legends in the makinggg
joey and paul... we miss you
Damn I just stumbled upon this today. This is amazing 😅
One of the heaviest, greatest metal songs of all time!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
It is. I mean there are lots of heavier genres. Like death, grind, black, war,etc but there's something in this song. The rawness, the genuine anger, the explosiveness, the power, the fucking scream. One of the hardest, heaviest song ever produced.
for anyone that thinks this was a dead crowd you werent there and didnt feel the energy of the show. this wasnt a typical concert but a once in a lifetime event you can never see again. i was there. there was 5 ppl moshing at random times. everyone was focused on the ppl on stage in amazement, cheering, singing and head banging along to all those great stars on stage. the crowd was mostly older concert goers 30s 40s plus with a few younger ones like myself 24 at the time. tickets were like $80-90ish dollars each (which then was insane price), and it was a stormy raining shitty night in NYC too. i tried to mosh at one point myself but no one was into it and admittedly i wasnt either after a min or 2 i just wanted to watch, headbang and sing along. there was also this 6 foot 3ish dude throwing jumping axe kicks like an asshole and no one wants to deal with that at this show, possibly getting into a fight, and getting kicked out missing everything else.
it was also a very chill event overall and none of the videos show between songs jamie jasta hosting talking to the crowds about the band they are covering with the next song while they played a mini hits video on that screen that kept going up before each song. it also help them change out all the equipment for all the different artists there. some asshole was yelling at Jamie the whole show going "where is your fucking thumb jaime" over and over between each song. Jamie was a fucking pro ignored the guy and did his job hyping up the next bands song that was gonna be covered while singing some of them himself.
Save the bs. The crowd is dead and doesn't deserve a show with all those legends performing live. Fucking bunch of ungrateful bastards. We idolise these guys and they know it that's why they love coming to see us in Britain. You can say what you want, but I've heard too many of these guys say they love European shows because the ENERGY is so strong compared to America that it doesn't even come close to comparison
Schau's mir immer wieder an Gänsehaut überall
I came and cried of joy at the same time
você é louco! insano!
melhor banda de metal do meu país🤟🏿🤟🏿

Damn never heard this…this is 🔥🔥
Wow!
I am 61 now and consider myself an OG of Metal. Saw my first concert as a little kid when my aunt (was a state trooper for Utah) and uncle took me to see Sabbath on the Masters of Reality tour. I also saw Alice Cooper, Three Dog Night and Deep Purple. I knew right then and there what music I loved. From then on, it has been nothing but metal/hard rock. I never considered Anthrax as Metal. I saw them several times in large shows...in Europe while stationed in NATO. This is Metal right here man!
as a DIE HARD METAL HEAD, hands down Sepultura was the loudest show EVER. they turned it up till it hurt ,then went one more. Still feel that pain
Machine head done something similar in Glasgow 2011. Rob screamed DO YOU WANT IT LOUDER!! We shouted back hell yeah.... the fuckin noise was defining my ears where ringing for 3 days after that concert. I was standing right next to the speakers, and they were 20 feet tall. I'll never forget it what an experience
🏴🤘😁🤘🏴
I later came to realise that was machine heads last tour with roadrunner records, so he played longer than he should have and played a lot louder than he should, especially davidian, that was something else. He kicked the absolute shit out of Glasgow that night. Magnificent moments like that will make memories that last a lifetime
@@johnhoggan1053 If you are up in Glasgow have u ever been to a show in Newcastle? I was trying to remember the name of the club: Trillions I think
