Nice video; especially for a first effort. What kind of camera do you use? You ask for suggestions: I would recommend setting the stage, perhaps starting with a map and an explanation of your plans, some shots of the put-in, etc. And more of the pursuit. Also, because of the quality of the video, you likely will get many views, and it is important that you model best practices. There is significant mortality of fish that have been handled, especially with dry hands. Good video tho'.
what kind of bait did you put on the jig head? ive been kayaking in florida for a while and i have found that the gulp curly tail baits are great for reds rout and flonder
+Justin Soto are you still in jax? I am in your position from one year ago today... love my kayak and fishing. havent caufght a st johns river fish yet... 1 month here
I still haven't tried St. John's River. I have had best and most luck launching in Nocatee. And heading south. Also Browns creek on heckscher drive has produced
@bigfishkid123 Hey Bigfishkid123, In this video I am mostly using Reaction Inovations Skinny Dippers, I also like to use DOA CALs a lot too. Gulp! shrimp are always a great bet though! Tight Lines my friend!
I have kayak, live in jax too so why not just narrate your fishing. I'm not even sure what you caught. Some flounders, a bass, and what where those gold fish called?
We are really blessed to have such spectacular inshore fishing here in Jax! Nice video, and even nicer trout!!
great video dude
nice Reds and Flounder
Great video and on kayak, that is cool ... just a little more in how to fish ...
Nice video, fellow jax angler here. Good choice on the modest mouse track!
This is still one of my favorite of your videos Jesse!

I love me some st.johns....live on it!! Go jags
skinny dippers are amazing i use them for bass fishing and salt water and kill it in both

Where were you at when you were catching those reds?
New to kayak fishing in Jax. I have was wondering where you put in at? I have been putting in at nocatee catching some good flounder and trout.
Try out Simpsons River or Sisters River. Both got some decent fish (if you haven't tried them already).

What was your rod and reel setup? Looks like a Shimano reel of some sort
That Red almost cost you a camera... he would have made it in the skillet. Nice Video! Were you fishing near Mandarin somewhere?
@vvgmhod4 Thank you for the reply! Your comments are much appreciated. The camera is a Kodak playsport
where were u fishing i live in max
do u keep the fish you catch
@bigfishkid123 not usually... I do catch and release 99% of the time

Oh and i could do without the music but more natural sounds around you
+edward kosinski music was great
+anthony zelina for you ,,, i just wanted to hear the fish splash and the natural sounds and you telling us as to what you are doing
I don't like The Band. The fishing stuff is good enough but both songs are bad, imo of course. The second song was extra crappy.
