You need to add the last part which is to reset the oil change reminder of the computer. Great video but I had to go find that somewhere else.
EDIT: There are two 7mm hex screws on the outermost sides of the under cover, not phillips screws.
To reset the oil change indicator pust the engine start button without your foot on the brake. Then foot on brake and throttle down all the way and 30sec later it is reset.

Excellent video, I recently purchased a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium with the 2.0 liter engine. I'll need to pickup a set of ramps and it will be oil change time for me as well. I have a late model Ford F,-250 and use the Mobil-1 full synthetic oil in it also. That's a very good lubricant. I'll be using it in my Escape as well.
    Thanks

So I purchased the same car 2014 titanium. it has 120 k miles but now people are telling me it will never last for 200 k miles b/c the ecoboost the engine will fail. how many miles on yours and how do you feel about that?
    Thanks.

I would use Purolator or motor craft filter, fram is not good

I normally use Motorcraft but I would have to order it where I am at.

I've used fram for 15 years and have had 0 issues with them or my vehicles

@@jeffklaubo3168 Same here. I've been using Fram since 1978 with zero oiling problems. The newer synthetic filters are even better.

Ford needs a swift kick in their rears for their poor design in their placement of the oil and coolant filler caps on the Escape! Shameful!

Wrong oil..5_20w is what it calls for..30w is thicker.. It matters..tiny holes where oilflows in engine..:p

    • @omegatron1843
