The Queen Anne walled garden has a beautiful lawn. Id love to see you cut that and for it to be beautifully filmed . Its inside Stirling Castle so a great opportunity for a spectacular and highly evocative video showcasing the Stirling mower.
I used to have a C20 now having used the Stirling I like it as well. C20 is built like a tank. Great mower if you have a lawn that's not enclosed by borders of plants esp roses. Also difficult if you have a a slightly raised or lower lawn from where the machine is stored. A significant plus point for the Stirling is the height of cut adjustment. Change of cartridge is not difficult in the C20 if you're a younger person. I liked the C20 but not as much as the Stirling. If the C20 had a higher height of cut possible ie more than the 19mm may be up to atleast 35 would have given more flexibility. Both are brilliant machines. C20 doesn't have a rakenunless you had the 10 bladed cylinder with the powered rake. So that makes it quite expensive at 2100 or so just for the powered groomer. So as Austin says, money no object or if you have a lawn without annoying borders etc then C20 I guess. Bit I'm leaning towards the Stirling for the east of maintenance, cheaper cartridges and the lack of oil services etc.
The Stirling is probably going to be beyond my budget for a home owner but you explain the benefits of the 10 blade cassette, I was wondering if it would be possible to specify the 10 blade rather than the 6 blade cassette at the time of purchase ?
Hi we don’t do this however if you ask one of our dealers they may do this for you We suggest that most people need both cartridges as you need to be cutting 2/3 a week with the 10 blade cartridge and there will be times you can’t where the 6 blade comes in handy
Why on bloody hell don’t you make a manual version ? …Hudson star…. has a few models in the manual persuasion and they are top shelf from what I have Hurd and seen here on TH-cam. Allett would make a proper one ☝🏻I bet it would be something to see ! A lot of people would LOVE a Allett manual greens mower !
Currently using a cheap Bosch electric scarifier, it' so annoying it stops every 1 minute of use, wait for it to cool down then start again. With the Stirling, will the motor overheat with the deepest settings please?

It's so nice. You really have turned it into a science and Art
Nice to hear you call it an art! We think exactly that! It's not just cutting grass!
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK Yes exactly you push & convince us to treat the peace of land as canvas, respect & regards from Islamabad Pakistan 🇵🇰

Might have one in the future ;)

Not unless you have tree roots etc
It’s been tested down to -14mm which is more than deep enough
What’s Austin’s preference 17 or 20 inch on his home lawn
Don't think he minds! Can double the stripe up on the 17'' anyway ..both widths of stripe fit the garden well
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK ok if he was held to gunpoint 43 or 51 😂
I would love to own this setup but is way too expensive. And a new battery would probably set you back hundreds more. Plus all the cartridges.
