Was I talking about playing in Tokyo in this stream? I’ve been out there twice to perform with Graham Oliver and Paul Quinn; the original guitarists from Saxon. We’re called Graham Oliver’s Army and we do a greatest hits - classic era of Saxon setlist. Great band, great songs - but Japan is just stunning. Best place I’ve visited in my life. ✌️✌️✌️✌️
glad to see you doing a show with Koala. I know it will inspire me when i learn more. your workflow is more instructive than most of the Koala content i have seen.
For me, Koala is a sample host. It can be many things and has lots of features I wouldn’t often use. So the way I’m showing it here, maybe that’s the way it would work for you too. Maybe that’s why it makes sense. ✌️✌️✌️✌️
Enjoyed the workshop a lot, thank you Jamie! Would love to see a koala show, I wonder how you midi mapped your pads for drumkits. I guess general midi works best to make it compatible with other drum apps?
I’ve been thinking a Koala vid might be fun - going in a bit deeper. I could do stream about how I map all my drum machines and stuff, that might be cool. ✌️✌️
Segments is awesome for slicing stuff. It’s my favourite for that. I made a video on it. But Koala is great for importing and hosting samples for drums. That’s my main use case
Tokyo, huh? Sweet! Wuz it Kool and the Gang?
