- Return to Old Sharks Hockey Club for Sunday nights Spring/Summer season playing for Team 6.
This was Game 1 of the season vs Team 5.
My son, Sam, is also playing in his first official session of beer league hockey, which made me a proud hockey dad. Scoring 2 goals and 1 assist in his beer league debut, he is off to an amzing start.
The Game Final was 6-8 Team 6 WIN!
Couldn"t find that last goal we scored in the footage. Somehow I overlooked it.

Once the yellow team got the lead at 4-3, your swagger turned into what looked like a goalie hell bent on not allowing the other team to get ahead again. Pretty cool to see! Great job out there, my friend! That stretched out glove save was nice, and you made the breakaway saves look easy. Hope to see more soon. Also hoping the best for the Muren family!
Thanks Jarrod. There definitely was a clear turning point in the game. The team really put the pedal down and got us back in it. Fun game to watch and play in.

Thanks. It was a great game. This was my son's first official beer league game. It was a fun game. He scored twice and got an assist as well. Had a great time cheering for him from the ice instead of the stands. Thanks for watching

Thanks, but honestly I felt like you guys made the difference in this game. I was glad Sam had such a good first game. Proud dad moment for sure.
The Ref is adorable in his zebra striped hockey socks! 3:43 I need to learn how to get up like that. We had a week off because of memorial day so I went to the Open Skate session they had and actually tried it, couldn't figure it out. Good game, love to see the ref out there. Still had the "Pick up" amount of Defense so you were left alone to bail them out a lot.
David, aka "the ref", is a phenomenal hockey player and a very nice guy too. Makes it hard to get mad at him when he scores on you all night. Had a good team win in this game. The guys turned things up toward the end and got us back in it. Had not played myself in over a month, so was feeling a bit rusty. Things worked out in the end. Thanks for watching
