- "19 Ghost Ship Stories of the High Seas" delves into the eerie and unexplained tales that have long captivated mariners and landlubbers alike.
Each chapter unfurls a different story, a blend of history and myth, where vessels set sail but become untethered from reality itself.
From the Octavius, found adrift with its frozen crew still aboard, to the haunting enigma of the Mary Celeste, discovered deserted with its crew mysteriously vanished, these narratives span centuries and oceans.

Have you heard of any other ghost ships from the list besides The Flying Dutchman?
Yes. Mary Celeste since forever.. and I remember the news from 15 years or so of Bel Amica. The other ones never heard of them! Very very interesting! Gr8 video m8!
Many my grandfather master ship buildee
Mary Celeste
The Edmund Fitzgerald comes to mind.
I have always loved the stories about ghost ships, fascinating. Thank you.
If your scrolling for something cool to watch and you don't click of a video about ghost ships you outta your medicine :P
I'm really glad that watching your Mythical Creatures episodes, actually got me interesting, especially the ghost ships too. I'm really expecting more creatures from Folklore, the movies and more to be revealed and their facts as well.
The creature series will be present at least once at several weeks! :) glad you liked it!
@@MythosTheHistorian Great! Thanks!
I love the flying Dutchman story....my favorite ghost ship story and these are cool too.
Thank you for the video I heard of some of these before
You called the Mary Celeste a brig, but showed an image of a full rigged ship. A brig has two square rigged masts, whille three square rigged masts is a full rigged ship. Many instances of images with errors compared to the dialog. Still, this is a very engaging video, and fun to watch. Sorry for the nitpicking.
Very interesting and informative
Good Job
The picture of the Joyita at 15:00 is funny. It has a lady just walking off the ship and guard rails that go through people. Guess it's appropriate for a ghost ship!
Great video but you made a mistake about where the Eliza Battle sank. I only know because she sank in my home state of Alabama. The Eliza Battle was on the Tombigbee River carrying a load of cotton between Columbus, Mississippi and Mobile, Alabama when she sank 32 miles from Demopolis, AL where her hull can still be seen.
Love it im a sea worrier 💚
Warrior?
@@oxcart4172 bad spelling on part
@@oxcart4172I’m a sea worrier. The vastness of the ocean gives me anxiety.

Unfortunately, I'm no stranger to anxiety, either!

I need a boat I'd love to see a ghost ship
You ever feel like some of these ships have no crew because someone at the harbor f*cked up and accidentally pushed it out to sea?
The Flying Dutchman was never named 'The Flying Dutchman'. That was the nickname given to the ship by superstitious English sailors.
Io veyovo
Bashir
I must confess on my deathbed. The Ourang Medan. That was me. My bad. I'm so sorry. And now, I die.
The 2 ship has a weird name 😅
