honestly i feel like only groups from bigger companies can get away with doing super unique and tough concepts because they already have the support and the company won't suffer THAT much if its not as popular. Sonamoo was rushed out to the public right when BAP had that lawsuit so TS can make money and the girls suffered soooo much for it because of crazy angry BAP fans who were mad at TS for making Sonamoo have a similar concept to BAP even though they were initially supposed to be BAP's sister group. imo if the whole lawsuit thing never happened or if TS would've pushed back their debut till the whole thing was settled, i think Sonamoo would've definitely succeeded but unfortunately that's not what happened and they had to resort to the cute concept and it was either that or the sexy concept (which i think they can def pull off but they are still kinda young so no lol) and SuMin had said after their debut happened that they want to try different concepts so this one wont stick forever BUT!! before you guys complain too much you guys should check out their album, their first track is really great and New Sun has a song that she composed and wrote the lyrics for that sounds a lot like their first album. Overall, whether you like the concept or not we should still support them!! they are talented girls and tbh this song is actually rlly good and has a funky sound to it and the bridge is killer. Besides we don't want them pulling a The Ark situation and just disbanding or have them be left in the dungeon like Secret because of the lack of support. The thing I find funny is that some people were complaining that Sonamoo is copying B.A.P in their debut and they should have not debuted like that basically they were getting hate for having debuted with that style but now people are saying what happened to Sonamoo that they are falling into the whole cute thing and they do not like it. I can just say people can never be pleased with which ever concept they are going for they always get so many complaints no matter what they do. Personally I loved their first concept, and even though I'm a Baby I didn't think they were ripping BAP off. I thought they were really unique since I can't name any other girl group with a hiphop concept (2ne1 and 4minute were as close as you can get, but even they weren't hiphop girl groups). ohmygod i cant believe people complain on what concept they are taking!! when they had dejavu - a hip hop concept as their debut, most comments just said they were bap copies back then or i rarely see ppl praising their hiphop concept (unlike other groups)... and now they tried a new concept, everyone was just "what happened to hip hop concept?"
