These Nanoblade Genji clips are some of the most boring over hyped yawnfests I have ever seen. I got a 4k with Nanoblade, I am the sickest anything literally ever! A series of fucking meteors might as well obliterate the houses of every player on the enemy team when the Nanoblade combo happens, it's actually the same thing.

Salt in the last clip is speaking volumes and the take isn't even hot. Only thing I'd like to add that many a times the hook angle will be scuffed enough so you can't land all of your scattershots on the small target infront of you. Walking forwards a little bit before the left click, a pre-right click, and a follow-up melee helps, but you need to also consider if your target has any escape abilities. Plus Roadhog gets shit on by so many counter heroes because he can be caught out of position extremely easily.
TLDR Hog is a character that actually takes a modicum of skill to play compared to the other one shot heroes mentioned in the video; and my take is there are undeniably better tanks out there that any player can select and alter the outcome of the match more.
His one shot is still stupid, you pretty much cant react to it at all if its a good hog player. Fairest one shot is still rein pin. He has to charge in and it has a relatively long starting animation rather than being out instantly like roads hook
The thing is, none of those other characters are 700 hp tanks, that also have self sustain. They need to hit shots to be of any value. Roadhog has way too much damage even when not hitting hooks and on top of that can be unkillable in some situations.
@@schlors5784 There is actually a window where you can dodge the hook he's thrown at you, it isn't instant. My best advice for you is to watch your positioning, sticking to corners if you see or hear him nearby, and playing behind your tank.
@@SamReynols The other non-feeder tanks do not need self sustain. They have smaller hitboxes and have damage mitigation abilities, i.e bubble, gold, baton, suck, matrix, shield...

The positioning argument to defend Hog is like telling people to just don't peek or dont be in the open against Widow or Hanzo.

It's more of a 2-3 shot, really.
But as tank, Hog needs some form of intimidation and presence otherwise players are just gonna not care if he's there.
@@facupov the thing is you have to be good on most of oneshot-capable heroes to do that or very lucky, while on hog you can do that combo even if you're playing him for the first time
Yeah but his tradeoff is that he is the only tank that offers literally nothing to protect his team besides intimidation, and so many things can punish him when he goes for his hook
“The fairest one shot” is by far rien pin. Hogs hook can and does hook you from behind cover if your hitbox is even slightly too close to the edge, whereas rein pins hitbox is terrible and actually has risk to it
And it doesn't even one shot many of the characters all other one-shots do. Man, Rein's charge hitbox is frustratingly wonky to boot. Will I suck the enemy from 3 meters away, throw them all the way to Ilios or just straight up go through them from pixel perfect hit? Let's cast a 7 sided die to find out!

Honestly, the one shot doesn't bother me, if you get that close to that big boi you should die. The problem is that hook is almost always a GUARANTEED one shot, If hook was like a whip that could do long range damage, or even if when you hooked someone it didn't pull them directly next to Hog, maybe like Junker Queens knife it just kind of pulls you towards Hog, It would be more fair in my opinion.

Compared to how it used to be it's completely fine, any long term players still remember the original hook literally being able to hook an ulting mcree round the corner just by looking for the orange glow

Last clip makes no sense to me because all the one shots he mentioned require headshots while hog one shot requires looking at someone's general direction & pressing two buttons. Also doesnt matter if you see him coming because without an Orisa or another hog he'll get away with just about anything he wants to most of the time.
