20 yrs ago my life had fallen apart everything was taken from me . One night drunk I told God to f off. I recently gave my life to God but was told since I didnt feel the holy spirit I was lost. Its the most horrible feeling. Ive cried ive asked do3r forgiveness 20 times but nothing has changed. I wish i could take it back
I've cussed God out of anger before multiple times and He still saved me. I didn't really know Him when I did it but now that I'm actually truly saved and have experienced God and know Him I feel like if I were to cuss Him now or purposely disrespect Him that He would remove His Spirit from me and I would have no chance of repentance. I feel like that would be blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and I would be lost. It is God who calls you to Him and not yourself so if you're feeling desperate to know Him and feel Him and are deeply troubled that you can't then you are not lost. The ones who are truly lost don't care about being lost because when God has withdrawn from you you no longer desire fellowship with Him. But because you do desire fellowship with Him, that is evidence that you are not lost!!! Don't lose hope!

God himself has said in (Romans 10:13) " EVERYONE (who calls) upon the name of the Lord (SHALL) be saved" EVERYONE means you. You called apon the Lord to save you. That settles it. Your feelings come and your feelings go. The word of God does not change or fail. Never depend on how you feel,depend only on what God promised you God promised if you would call on Him He would save you. You called upon God. God will (surely keep His word) and save you. The people you say can't be saved isn't factual. There are only 2 categories of people who CAN'T be saved, those who blasphemed the HOLY SPIRIT and those who GOD has been given over to their own sinful nature, a reprobate mind. According to Orthodox Christian scriptures there are three unforgivable sins: Denying God; Blaspheming the Holy Spirit, and Suicide. However it is questionable whether denying God means being in denial of God at time of death or if anyone had ever denied God during their life. Also there are exceptions that are made when someone commits suicide. I wouldn't do it myself but in some cases there must be exceptions.

First, EVERYONE can be saved. 2 Peter 3:9

God extends the possibility of salvation to all who would accept it, no matter whom you are or what you’ve done. Jesus’ death on the cross paid for ALL sin, not just most sin. This is what is called “general revelation”.
In other words, Adolf Hitler, Mother Teresa and everyone in-between had/has the same opportunity to be saved and can go to Heaven. No human is worthy of God’s love, but that is irrelevant. God loves us based on His grace, not our worth.
Second, does God “select” who to save and who not too? Yes and No, He is God and He is ultimately in control of who goes to Heaven and who doesn’t, however, this “selection process” doesn’t work the way you think it does.
God’s sovereignty doesn’t invalidate our free will, instead both run parallel which means God doesn’t select who goes to Heaven per se, instead, through God’s foreknowledge He knows what we will ultimately choose when given any choice and all choices and simply gives us what we choose (currently and ultimately).
In other words, we make the choice and He allows us to have the choice we make whether that choice is to accept Jesus Christ as savior (Heaven) or to reject Jesus and live as we see fit (Hell). Now don’t get it confused, 2 Peter 3:9 should already let you know that God doesn’t want anyone to go to Hell and as such, He tries to bring us into His presence to show us it’s better with Him, however, He will not force His way into your life. If you don’t want Him, He will allow you to see what life is like without Him so that you may return to Him, but, you may not return it’s your choice.
Remember, you can always change your mind, the only time it's too late is when you're dead.
As for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, here is a short video on how to understand what it means, but just know that this specific type of blasphemy cannot happen in our time, instead, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (currently) is simply a continuous rejection of Jesus Christ since if you accept Jesus the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of you, but if you don't, you are continually blaspheming against Him which will eventually lead to Hell.

Up until about 500 A.D., Christian beliefs about hell were reasonable and beautiful. The prevailing view then was that hell (the lake of fire, actually) not only punished but also purified the unrighteous. It was temporary -- each person's finite punishment would fit their finite crimes (sins). (The Greek speaking early church fathers knew that _aionios,_ the Greek word that is mistranslated as "eternal" in our English Bibles, doesn't really mean "eternal.") Once a person's punishment and purification were complete, he or she would go to heaven. Answer: The most crucial problem with the Roman Catholic Church is its belief that faith alone in Christ is not sufficient for salvation. The Bible clearly and consistently states that receiving Jesus Christ as Savior, by grace through faith, grants salvation (John 1:12; 3:16,18,36; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10,13; Ephesians 2:8-9). The Roman Catholic Church rejects this. The official position of the Roman Catholic Church is that a person must believe in Jesus Christ AND be baptized AND receive the Eucharist along with the other sacraments AND obey the decrees of the Roman Catholic Church AND perform meritorious works AND not die with any mortal sins AND etc., etc., etc. Catholic divergence from the Bible on this most crucial of issues, salvation, means that yes, Catholicism is a false religion. If a person believes what the Catholic Church officially teaches, he/she will not be saved. Any claim that works or rituals must be added to faith in order for salvation to be achieved is a claim that Jesus' death was not sufficient to fully purchase our salvation.
While salvation by faith is the most crucial issue, in comparing Roman Catholicism with the Word of God, there are many other differences and contradictions as well. The Roman Catholic Church teaches many doctrines that are in disagreement with what the Bible declares. These include apostolic succession, worship of saints or Mary, prayer to saints or Mary, the pope / papacy, infant baptism, transubstantiation, plenary indulgences, the sacramental system, and purgatory. While Catholics claim Scriptural support for these concepts, none of these teachings have any solid foundation in the clear teaching of Scripture. These concepts are based on Catholic tradition, not the Word of God. In fact, they all clearly contradict Biblical principles.
In regards to the question "Are Catholics saved?", this is a more difficult question to answer. It is impossible to give a universal statement on the salvation of all members of any denomination of Christianity. Not ALL Baptists are saved. Not ALL Presbyterians are saved. Not ALL Lutherans are saved. Salvation is determined by personal faith in Jesus alone for salvation, not by titles or denominational identification. Despite the unbiblical beliefs and practices of the Roman Catholic Church, there are genuine believers who attend Roman Catholic churches. There are many Roman Catholics who have genuinely placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. However, these Catholic Christians are believers despite what the Catholic Church teaches, not because of what it teaches. To varying degrees, the Catholic Church teaches from the Bible and points people to Jesus Christ as the Savior. As a result, people are sometimes saved in Catholic churches. The Bible has an impact whenever it is proclaimed (Isaiah 55:11). Catholic Christians remain in the Catholic Church out of ignorance of what the Catholic Church truly stands for, out of family tradition and peer pressure, or out of a desire to reach other Catholics for Christ.
At the same time, the Catholic Church also leads many people away from a genuine faith relationship with Christ. The unbiblical beliefs and practices of the Roman Catholic Church have often given the enemies of Christ opportunity to blaspheme. The Roman Catholic Church is not the church that Jesus Christ established. It is not a church that is based on the teachings of the Apostles (as described in the Book of Acts and the New Testament epistles). While Jesus' words in Mark 7:9 were directed towards the Pharisees, they accurately describe the Roman Catholic Church, "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!"
